Kind of ironic, but how do people manage their money wisely? I got my first job (well paying in my area) and have next to no bills to pay and in a position where my "rent" is cheap and "optional" I save 500 a week but i still don't think that's enough. My friends say what basically amounts to me having too much expendable cash and i kind of agree. I think it boils down to self control and moderation but i don't know how to build that up either. Any tips? I know it may sound like a "too rich" bit but this is a real problem im having Correction: 500 biweekly

I was curious if either of you had any advice when it comes to saving money wisely. At this moment I'm finally making decent money, but my bank has shown me the rates are extremely bad (0.05% is usually the highest) I know Schlatt use to praise a ROTH IRA, but I'm not sure if its still good or if I just have to wait for an increase in rates. Also between Episode 2 and now I took what you guys said in mind if you have the email there might be something there ;)

Also I HEAVILY sympathize with Mika when Bees or any flying bug lunges at me I freak out

I had recently just quit my job as a manager at McDonald’s but I have no job lined up afterwards. I had been working there for about 3 years now with 50+ hours every week. This is the first time probably before starting there that I have had a week off. (besides getting Covid twice) I wanted to take the rest of the summer off but I’m not sure it’s a good idea now because Im worried that I won’t be able to get back in with the swing of things. I want to start learning a trade but I just wanna chill. What were both of your first jobs and how did you move on to something better?

just broke up with my boyfriend of 3.5 years, we’ve been dating since we were sophomores in highschool and now we’re about to be sophomores in college… need some advice bad on how to live life LOL this episode helped a lot btw so thank you for that! but like how do i go about not texting them or talking about them to other people (not to be cheesy or corny but he is my best friend so it’s like a double break up LOL)

Myself

I am shaking while typing this I am in so much shock. So, earlier today before my sister left for work, she offered me 5 dollars to clean her air fryer. I was hesitant to do it, as 5 dollars isn’t a whole lot of cash, but I accepted her offer after some consideration. Fast forward to just a couple of minutes ago, I was cleaning it out, home alone, and when I dumped some of the water out, I got some on my shirt. I was immediately struck down with a multitude of complex, indescribable emotions. I have no idea what to do, as my shirt was wet and I am home alone with nobody to comfort me. Please offer me support and advice to prevent any accidents similar to this one from happening again.

My question is do you guys have an advice on meeting new people and first impressions? I’m going to college in a month in a completely new area so I wanna get myself more out there. But I feel like it’s so difficult for me because I have this weird phase whenever I meet someone and I’m the most awkward person on the planet. It usually takes me too long to warm up to people and feel comfortable around them so It just makes me feel like I’m making other people uncomfortable or just not wanna hangout. I have a small amount of people who have put up with it and im great friends with them but I feel like I’ve burned so many opportunities to be friends with people by just being so socially awkward. (Especially with girls so that sucks too) . Keep up the great content Mika and Aztro I really enjoy the nice change of pace compared to the podcasts. Thanks and hope you guys had a good summer.

Since you guys are both content creators, do you have any advice for completing projects? I tend to get so caught up on the finished project just to get burnt out almost immediately after I start it, especially if it isnt looking as good as i want it to. Any tips for finishing things and managing my crazy high expectations?

at the time i'm writing this, i'm two days away from moving two states away from home to go to college. i'm very excited to go to college and start all of my classes 🤓 but i am deeply sad because i'll be leaving my cat at home. obviously i'll miss my family n whatnot, but my cat won't be able to understand why i'm leaving and it just makes me so, so sad :((( any advice on how to combat this sadness?

I'm returning to college soon as an animation major and I just haven't felt the same ever motivation as when I started in my first semester I still draw and make little doodles but I come up with these ideas and never do it like here are 2 examples of my ideas 1 which is something original I'm working on and the other which is fanart. My original art was making my own original comic with the character I invented in my first animation class which was a little rat just getting through his struggles and becoming a functional member of society. My second drawing was a fanart for schlatt but more specifically everyone who was in his jack box videos which included everyone who was featured in those videos as a background character like in a boxing arena with the 2 main things fighting being one of those deformed schlatt characters everyone else drew and with schlatt being the ref and you guys also being there despite not being in the videos but honestly I can't even say that because 1 I haven't done shit and 2 I am unmotivated so honestly what should one do to regain motiveation ?

Ive been friends with my boss since I was in freshman year high school and he was a junior. Im now 18 and he is 21. About a year ago he offered me the job I'm in now. In the year I've been in this job he worked his way up to running the entire company. Me and him have always been super close and now we have a kinda friends with benefits thing? I'm fine with it I just worry it will end up hurting his position in job. I've talked to him about it a few times and he says he dosent want to stop. Is this a fucked situation? Should I stop, I dont really want too,? Things dont last forever should I break it off now before it gets messy with our job? Especially for him since he runs the company?

I'm making okay money, and I'm engaged to the love of my life. But I always feel like I'm one paycheck away from losing the little I have. I don't have much rent compared to most, and we don't go out all the time (and never really expensive places), but I can never seem to get any money into savings. I guess I'm just stressed about letting my fiancee down in the finance department. What would be your guys' advice to save money and maybe make some extra in my off time? Thanks, I enjoy both of your guys' content on and off the pod!

My cat passed away as I'm writing this, her name is Lucy, she was my stepfather's cat before he passed away and took her in, she was an aggressive cat to other pets but was very friendly in general but sadly her old got to her, I've had her since I was a senior in high school and to her pass away after so much time hurts, she lived a good 15 years and I'm glad to have taken care of her, I'm going to miss her. https://drive.google.com/file/d/14QHVFAwTaMXSdjbcNM9Uuu1ZY9dVkd_0/view?usp=drivesdk
