Ok, I’ve risen from the dead to comment for this live stream because of WSWF. Because I was about to pester you, like I did with boys planet, to watch the show! Because Khadija, YOU NEED TO WATCH IT! I think this season will be miles and miles better than any other before it! And it will be so interesting to see how those different crews will fare on a korean show (and then it’s also mnet) and then on the other hand how the korean crew will fare in an ‘international‘ competition. I’ve also discovered this one youtuber who is also a dancer and judge reacting to anything dance. And yesterday she released her analysis to those dance performances and I just loved her joy and excitement at those top tier dancers and all her input she gives on what they're doing and all the background information she can give about the dancers. So I was really hoping you’d do this show as well because I need more dancers like yourself to pay attention to this and have fun with them watching the show! I haven’t watched all of your reaction yet. But I’ll try to answer questions you might have about the show throughout. And first of all, if I remember correctly, this isn’t even the first challenge they do on the show (first they have the underdog battle and then I think they do the rank challenge from which those legendary/trending choreographies emerge; like smoke challenge) but mnet always pre-releases this challenge to get the voting started. And the concept of this challenge is to set up two teams against each other and let them choreograph tot he same song or in this case artist. The crews get to decide themselves but if more than two crews choose the same they have to figure out amongst themselves who gets to stay with the artist and who has to choose something else. Another part of this challenge is the copy challenge. Each of those two groups performing to the same artist has one small part to choreograph that the other group has to copy. And whoever does this better gets extra points. You’ll see in the video a text pop up in the corner indicating when the copied section starts and who did the choreography. For example, in the battle between ojo gang and motiv, motiv did their section with breakdance elements performed by logistix which ojo gang weren’t able to copy fully. And ojo gang with ibuki integrated a lot of waacking to make the challenge for motiv harder but, unfortunately for them, they were able to pull this off.

From the voice, I would defintely say that this is definitely Hanbin who'll be the new mc. From the past seasons I've watched, I don't really think that song choice was ever much influence on the audience voting. It was mostly popularity based, like in the past seasons for example 1million, ygx, mannequeen videos were heavily streamed just because they were already well known to the korean public. But I think this season nationality and I guess patriotism lol will definitely play a big role in voting. Also Momo said on her ig story to support her sister so ojo gang is already in a more privileged starting point than other crews. You also have the judges giving out points for certain challenges but they never factor in as heavily as the public voting unfortunately. But that's just mnet for you. It's never about quality with them.

The last woman taking off the top part of her overall from rhtokyo is rie hata. She choreographs a lot for kpop, especially for sm artists, I believe. She did rv's bad boy, bts' mic drop and nct u's boss, just to name a few.
