Okayyyyyy, I'm so excited about this show! I am finally watching a show IN REAL TIME and... y'all were not joking - the drama is dramatic!!!! 👀 I know MNET just had to make the first episode exciting, but I'm stressed on their behalf! haha.

The battles were dope. I'm really looking forward to seeing the crews compete and seeing their choreography, though!

The second episode was airing live while I was exporting this video, so I'll try to check it out as soon as possible. I think I'm gonna do it live on Twitch again (I might start filming all my reactions live, tbh, cuz it's a lot more fun and I am more motivated to get it done haha).

Talk to me about this show!! Let's experience this together!

Ahaaaaaa, I need to leave a comment already before watching because I’m so excited!! I‘ve already seen the first episode on my own but still, I‘ve been waiting for you to upload your reaction and start watching the show alongside you! And I can already tell that I’ll be so much more invested in this season than the previous ones. But this also might be because I might have developed a huuuuge crush on Kyoka from Odaka Ojo Gang over the past week since the show started airing lol. Also, if you‘re interested to watch on your own, there have been tons of dancers from past seasons analysing the battles. Or even kyoka, ibuki and hana from ojo gang have posted a video on their own battles. Which might be worth having a look at since there have been some decisions made that caused some “controversies” among viewers haha. But unfortunately we’re already used from the past seasons to not having qualified enough judges for the battles.

Ohhh that's really interesting! I'd love to hear dancers' perspectives on these battles!!! The judges are... interesting choices, for sure haha. Some of the decisions in this first episode I understand and others I'm like... huh? Lol

Yeah, I think it's really good to hear their perspectives. Especially Kyoka and Ibuki touched on some very important things (for example the general criterias of a battle, the songs that were chosen and how that affects the judging). And it was clear that they were very frustrated with the show regarding the battles since this is the side of dance that they represent but they felt that it was kinda useless for them to have participated if the format of the show didn't really allow them to properly portray the battle scene and therefore is even kinda misleading the viewers who might not be familiar with the dance world on how a battle is usually done and judged. Anyways, here are some links if you'd like to dive into some analyses/reviews: Ibuki, Kyoka, Hana on Ibuki vx Lip J: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3M1FUzNe_Qk Ibuki, Kyoka, Hana on Kyoka vs RieHata: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0Q8DlOqtdI Trix from Prime Kingz (SMF) on all the battles from ep 1 (eng subs seem to be ai-generated though): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bi0qIUKHr1E&t=13s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkZBrlOSqy8 Waackxxxy from Mannequeen (SWF season 2): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SvSpk96YGX0&t=675s And then there's also a youtuber, Jessica Holyfield, I discovered that is also a dancer and choreographer and has some experience in judging and analyzing battles that I've liked to watch for anything WSWF. She also did an analysis of all the battles but it's quite the long video so that's just a bonus if you might have the time or for whoever else is interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPgt8eyI-cY&t=44s

I really hope I'll be able to catch one of your next streams to watch alongside you. And btw, if you have a vpn you could try watching the show on viu, it's the official streaming platform for WSWF for the majority of asia. From what I've seen you don't even need an account to be able to awatch the videos :)
