ALRIGHT! We've finished Apple TV's 'KPOPPED' and... uh...

well, we're finished.

Honestly, I don't know what to say about the show. I feel like I said it a whole bunch throughout every episode. It was underwhelming, the production & format were a bit boring, we didn't see enough of the process OR get enough sense of competition to feel really invested. It just feels like they made the show cuz they could? I'm not really happy for the exposure that some of these k-pop groups got to new audiences, cuz I really didn't feel like it showcased them well at all. And the "K-Popped" versions of the songs were mostly NOT an improvement, so I dunno why anyone would go out of their way to listen to k-pop after this.

Sigh.

Boyz II Men looked and sounded great, though, and BLACKSWAN was a great balance for them. NVEE sounded phenomenal. Ep. 7 performances? Were aight, like most others haha.

I think ATEEZ & Kylie Minogue is still my favourite performance of the entire series.

Is there anything I didn't mention or notice or think about when it comes to this show? What were your thoughts? I am always open to different perspectives, so I want to hear what you thought, too!!!
