Can I say that I really really like LNGSHOT? Like I didnt love them at start but now I see that they are so talented and remind me about the old boybands I loved when I was little lol like Backstreet Boys - JayPark has a clear vision about them

What are your thoughts on Woojin’s Free Tory shirt and saying Tory Lanez is his favorite artist? I see that Lngshot has good music and they are talented, but I have a hard time getting over that. Also the silence after being called out for it is even more concerning. Tory Lanez is just so intertwined with misogynistic red pill communities online, that it’s hard to separate Woojin from that in my brain even if it’s a bit unfair or unconfirmed.

I will say, I'm not FULLY clear on their brand/vision yet. But definitely the old skool r&b group (which is what the earliest boy bands were based on) is super clear here and it's a REALLY strong look and sound for them. Seeing more BTS footage of them, I'm still really confused why they're leaning so hard into the stereotypical hip hop kind of vibe. They have a really good look that is very organically "urban" without doing all that. But... okay, I guess? Hahaha. MoreVision/Jay Park. Imma let them cook and see what happens. But they're soooooo talented, so I'm on board for the journey!

Yeahhhhh. I kind of crashed out about this in one of my Twitch streams - don't remember which one. I think it was DUMB. I think it's a really dumb thing for him to say and totally disrespectful and shows either a clear unawareness of hip hop culture (problematic) or total misogyny (also problematic). BUT. He is really young and I know young people say and do dumb shit. I am more bothered by the company for letting it happen and then not guiding him to take accountability for it afterwards. I'm not surprised by the lack of response from MoreVision, though (... problematic!). I'm gonna give it time, see if they are more mindful as they move forward. If we keep seeing sketchy stuff over and over without any consequences, then I'll have to step away from them. But at this point, I'm still willing to see where things go.

That’s fair. I just can’t enjoy their performances because it’s always nagging me in the back of my mind. Hopefully, like you said, it was a wake up call that some of these communities online aren’t just edgy but are very problematic and they move past it.
