Hey friends!! Uploading this video separately cuz it WAS glitchy and the audio WAS fucked up in certain spots. Haha. Soooooo, maybe I'm just going back to filming and uploading as usual next week. We tried! Sometimes you gotta just take your time and do things right the first time instead of having to spend twice as much time fixing your mistakes. Haha. Unfortunately we can't see the chat this way but just imagine you can read what everyone was saying. 🤪

ANYWAY, some fun follow ups ONCE AGAIN. Here's what I'll say:

MEOVV is really, really good. I don't know why I don't watch them or listen to them more. I REALLY like their energy. Hold on, I was supposed to be listening to the EP while I write this post. I'll put my feedback in the comments again!

MAMAMOO are goddesses and they are perfect and I love them forever. And ever. Also Hwasa has Dommy Mommy energy. I will not be taking any questions at this time.

BLUE PONGTIWAT & TEN ARE BOTH SO GORGEOUS, IT'S OVERWHELMING. Seeing them together is sooooo cute! (Not to be that fan, but I ship it! Haha)

I think there are definitely things I like about HEART OF WOMAN, but I'm not fully excited about them yet. I will have to listen to their album too at some point.

AND2BLE are doing so well and I'm so proud of them! I am looking forward to seeing and hearing more, though. This debut is a good first look, but I know they've got a lot more to them that we've seen/heard so far.

I.O.I. are so special and wonderful and I LOVE THIS REUNION COMEBACK MOMENT!!! It makes me so emotional and I wasn't even a stan like that...!

ALSO, just so y'all know, they were drilling RIGHT OUTSIDE my front door. Breaking concrete and shit. That was the loud sound. I enjoyed that for another hour or two once we ended.

BUT, more importantly... I got tickets to see CORTIS, y'all!!! The ticketing gods were looking down on me today. I'll post soon all about it.

I.O.I trained for six hours every day and their bodies were killing them, because they would train until 3 am to prepare for this tour :(

thank you for the meovv content, so excited for when you do the leemujin service stuff, especially Gawon' which i saw someone had already told you about, idk if anyone has mentioned that Narin has one too, also im not too sure if you have seen Ella and Gawon Cover Somi's "the way" and also Gawon and Narin;s cover of Rose's number one girl but they are top tier

I FORGOT TO SHARE MY THOUGHTS ON THE MEOVV EP! • 'Hit 'Em' is a fun performance energy, but it's pretty repetitive and basic. Sorry to have them catching strays, but it feels like an ADP reject. Haha. • On the other hand, 'DDI DO RI' is SO interesting and I like it the more I hear it! They made some really fun choices with vocals & melodies in that song. It could have come across as corny, but I like it! And the choreography just makes it even better! • 'In My Hands' is such a mooooooooooood! Ugh, late night drives and summer nights with friends. Though now that I've mentioned ADP, I can hear a lot of similarities in vocal performances - maybe it's the BLACK LABEL vocal coaches or whatever. • I didn't expect 'Favorite Song' at all! Honestly... it is very BLACK LABEL as well. Like, imagine Teddy writing a song like that for BP or for a ROSE solo. You know? It's cute, not my fave, but it's cute. Gawon and Narin have writing credits, which is fun! • The production on 'Revenge' is so much fun!! That song is really interesting, kind of a very BLACK LABEL sound in a way, but also totally unique. I dunno how often I'd listen to it, but when it comes on I'll be excited to hear it. • Overall, their vocals (and songwriting!!) are really, really strong throughout this EP. Even if I'm not loving the song, I can appreciate those vocals!

YES! In My Hands definitely taps into something deep inside, like a memory or something. I love that one. And Revenge was SO interesting!!!

I mean, that isn't necessarily out of the norm for some groups - once upon a time, groups used to take time between albums. BUT, I do think you're right that there was a lot of attention given to ADP last year.
