i’ve been listening to chat literally nonstop lol. i love that girlset are showing all the sides of them which is what they said they wanted to do in the first place! like none of their singles sound the same and they are building their identity sonically and making sure it all fits girlset! proud of them.

So Girlset actually received a vocal production credit since they wrote vocal harmonies for the track! I thought that was pretty cool they have more of a hand in the composition. Always love that you give insightful feedback instead of just glazing people you like lol. I'll say the first Korean stage was the worst, the second and third they seemed more confident.

To really see how far they've come you should check out the A2K episodes. If not the whole episodes maybe their group performances and auditions to get on the show. They have all improved so much but I think Kendall has improved the most and looks so much more comfortable with herself. She got a lot of negative comments from people when she was on A2K because they felt that JYP was showing her favoritism over the other contestants. I think he saw a lot of potential in her and if he did now we can see why.

Just catching up on what I've missed, and yes, NCT Wish really are so talented! Both of their new releases are so fun and have a fresh sound that's great for summer. I think they execute the cute concept so well that it's easy to forget they're not babies anymore. It's funny how I just default to seeing them as foetuses, but I can accept that Gunwook is grown lol. To someone's point in chat, during the f(x) reaction, about how today's companies would have to debut adults if they wanted to create a 5th gen GG with a 2nd gen concept/feel: f(x) weren't all that different when it came to that, actually. With the exception of Victoria, all of them were kids at debut. I'd love to see a shift in K-pop away from debuting minors, but that probably won't be happening anytime soon. It's refreshing to see exceptions—though few and far between—like 2AM and Mamamoo.

YES! We've gotten pretty different sounds from them so far, but it all works and sounds like THEM. Someone said the album is gonna be a range of music, so I'm looking forward to hearing it!

Yes, I love how much they're involved in their music! The inkigayo stage is in today's follow ups. I think they did WELL, a bit more comfortable as they perform more... but still not in love with their stage yet. They'll get there, though, I know they will!

I watched a couple A2K performances on Twitch - I was trying to find them but couldn't. I'd be curious to watch again, now that we've seen the growth! Maybe I'll check some out again soon. Kendall already looks like a whole new artist in the short time since the GIRLSET debut!!!! I can imagine how much she's grown since A2K!

Hahahahaha right? The fact that 4/6 members of Wish are older/same age as Gunwook but in my head they're TOTALLY different age groups!! Lol. I do love the idea of letting people be whole adults before debuting. Will it ever become the standard in the industry? Of course not. But it would be nice... (Though BMSG does that, so maybe it can become an industry standard if enough companies adopt that rule.)
