Why do I feel like I just haven't heard ENHYPEN before. Were their older songs this kind of vibe? They weren't right? Or maybe I just haven't heard enough from them...?

I LOVE THESE!

I'm so glad you were able to react to them!! They are amazing performers and have been constantly showing growth! Their old songs followed more of a story as their lore consist of them being vampires. I think a song you will really like is Fever. My personal favorites are Drunk Dazed, Paradoxx Invasion, and Pass the Mic (these have music videos) Bills, Chaconne, Polaroid Love, Mixed Up are also so good!! Thank you for checking them out and hopefully you’ll enjoy if you react more to them :)

As a follow up to these MVs, I think you will love Criminal Love. This is an OST for their WEBTOON. They performed it recently in their Seoul Concert. It has that dark sensual tone. There are many fan cams performance of the song. It is a pity that there is no MV. They do have a rehearsal video that was recently posted by Belift that you can watch. Recently subscribed and enjoyed your insights of the MVs and dance practice.

Welcome to the Enhypen rabbit hole! I’m so glad you were able to react to them. They’re simply incredible, I have no words. Song wise recommendation would definitely be fever, you can do the MV, Music Show and Dance practice combo so you can get the full picture. As a second recommendation you can react to Criminal Love which is an OST for their Webtoon, they performed it at their recent concert https://drive.google.com/file/d/1SSIaaCeP_inpydNZ7frRIYlQaZVN1CFd/view?usp=drivesdk and did a rehearsal for it too https://youtu.be/bDmrjyxjhRs as for the song itself there’s no perfect lyric video but yeah 😭 For a third recommendation as something different I’d recommend ParadoXXX Invasion (MV, performance and dance practice) for a more Hip Hop style and Future perfect (MV, performance and dance practice) for a more hard Chicago Drill side. And because I know you’d love it, both Upper Side Dreamin’ and Go Big or Go Home (song, performance and dance practice for both) is a great change of vibes and for their softer side Not for Sale and TFW(The Feeling When) (song, performance and dance practice). One thing they definitely have is RANGE. The group name derives from the hyphen symbol (-), representing “Connection, Discovery and Growth”. Similar to how a hyphen connect a word with another one to create a new meaning, Enhypen aims “to come together to connect, discover and grow together”. On the lore side well. Gotta start from the beginning lol I have a playlist for all of their MVs, concept trailers and their intros and outros for every album except for the most recent one because they failed to release the intro visualiser on that one lmao 😭 order is important to understand their lore. As for lore… well there’s a lot going on. Enhypen usually tells multiple stories in their MVs, this could happen at once or one at a time. 1. They tell their story and growth as friends and as a group. 2. They tell their story in the Idol Industry. 3. They tell their story in their Vampire World. Which most of the times there’s two going on: the one that’s related to their Webtoon (and sometimes the Webnovel) and the one that they tell ONLY in the MVs, Trailers and Visualisers Enhypen’s lore is spread throughout their Korean Title Tracks MVs, B-Side MVs, Japanese MVs, Perfomances (especially end of the year stages), Outfits, a Webtoon, a Webnovel, Cartoon images, Merch and so many other things that they put out. 🧍🏻‍♀️ However imo the best way to deep dive into their lore is: 1. Watch their MVs, trailers, and listen to their albums. Here’s a playlist of everything they’ve released in Youtube as music, not counting OSTs or Dark Moon (Webtoon and Webnovel) content: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBUrt8L5DH2ycBzASV_-ORQr-m8_ZbAg5 2. The Webtoon is probably the easiest, most up do date and accurate form of resource (plus it’s free lol) to know what’s kind of going at least on a surface level. **Important to Note:** The Webtoon takes inspiration FROM the Enhypen members and it’s not always included in the MVs. Link: https://www.webtoons.com/en/fantasy/dark-moon-the-blood-altar/list?title_no=3785 3. The Webnovel: has some important information but the way it’s written is not great lol. So unless you’re actually very into it, I don’t recommend it 😭 The Webnovel takes certain common elements from the different media spaces that Enhypen have (Webtoon, MVs,etc.) but it’s a different Universe/Dimension on its own as it’s not the same story but similar elements. Link: https://www.wattpad.com/story/294966028?utm_source=ios&utm_medium=link&utm_content=story_info&wp_page=story_details&wp_uname=delicate94hes&wp_originator=hWrNdWKd9nAJwdimLgX6rdwzhvNfPR1VS7G9nvQxs1sid9P8%2FCZ3%2Bi8FQYOSauPGhizRmkBJs1EKxyO78pU1brjFQsuPMjuGOvVSZ%2FEHeRwII9BiCZhAXAU3oLrFzVM7 4. Their perfomances: another important element. Sometimes their choreographies, sets, outfits, VCRs,etc. are part of the storyline and sometimes it’s just for the fun cool aspect lol so it can vary. I’m currently working on a playlist for any lore relevant performance and another with every single performance Enhypen has had in the past 2 and a half years that they’ve been here since their debut. So let me know if that’s something that you would be interested in. 5. We have an AMAZING HYBE theorist that helps us understand a bit better what Enhypen’s and HYBE groups lore as it’s like this: think of the HYBE (company) Universe as the Marvel Universe. Each group within that universe has a story. Certain elements within those stories may interact and interfere with one another. However each have their own separate journey but may (and possibly) collide and intertwine in the future. She has specific videos for deep dive on certain MVs and as well a couple more general ones. I do recommend having watched all of their MVs before diving into her videos though. Here’s her playlist for Enhypen lore: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL7zp1xnosytUdRoupPO_s7S3x0UFCrWUT I don’t want to spoil a lot of their lore because I think it’s very important for people to first have their own theories and opinions and then decide whether they want to deep dive into the common theories the fandom has. I’m more than happy to keep you updated and write you a summary tho lol. Anyways, please look forward to them, their music, amazing performances and incredible personalities and chemistry. Enhypen is really a one of a kind group. You should watch Enhypen&Hi Season 1 if you want to get to know them a bit, or I-Land if you want to watch their Survival Show process Mini lore Summary: They were knights turned into Vampires by a Princess in an Ancient Kingdom to help protect her from bad people and consequently bad vampired. After they (kinda) failed, they were reborn in a more modern time and they spent over 100 years in a orphanage, when they escaped they started to assist to an academy where they found this girl and they were all immediately drawn to her and had the need to talk to her and protect her. They are vampires who don’t need to drink human blood to survive but they drink animal blood once a year on their chosen birthday. And it goes from there lol, it’s quite complex as not everything is connected to the Webtoon lore but to a more complicated one sometimes so it’s like putting pieces of 3-4 different puzzles with many of the same pieces. They make references to Shakespeare, Green Mythology, Dante’s Inferno, The Promised Neverland and so on so there’s a lot to go by lol.

Oh my goshhhhhhhhh!!! Thank you for sharing all of this!!!!! These recommendations are great and thanks for kind of explaining what vibe each song gives.

As for the lore.... why do I feel like I need to dedicate an entire day to dive into all of this???? Wow!! I don't even know where I'd start but I'll need to do a series at some point to understand all of this lol. But I appreciate your sharing these links/playlists!! 💚💚

Khadija RiVERSE

Thanks for being here and supporting!! A lot of people have suggested 'Criminal Love' - I think I'll check it out when I do an ENHYPEN follow up! 💚

Khadija RiVERSE

Thanks for these recommendations, Daniela!! Quite a few people suggested 'Fever' so I think I'll definitely check that one out when I do a follow up! They have SO MANY SONGS though!! Lol I'm overwhelmed 🙈

It does feel like that sometimes 😭 the lore can get a bit tricky and there’s so much content and theories out there so it’s very very fun although can be overwhelming at times. Would love to see more of your reactions to Enhypen, either their music, variety content or lore!
