These vocals are so incredible!!! I won't gush about them here, cuz I basically ramble on and on in the video but... like... HOLY SHIT. They sound so good together!!!! 😭

I’m intrigued by your insight on the subtle music track lag and the eye communication. Initial reaction was feeling underwhelmed by shooting star first take b/c we’ve seen them vibe out from previous live performance on “It’s Live”. I was curious why their energy came across as more focused and serious vs jamming out, but I still enjoyed it! Hope you can see their live performance of WWY on weekly idol cause they did the chorus runs on “hooooow” in there.

XG is my ult bias as a global group, and love any live they do. Honestly, "It's Live" has been a favorite for a while. Hadn't heard of The First Take until recently either, and I think I'm an instant fan as I love how the camera really captures some of the ad libs and solos as they are sung that it enriches the experience for me. The other live vocals show that is pulling my focus when I really want to listen to a specific singer is Leemujin Service on KBS KPOP channel on YouTube. Was blown away by Wendy from Red Velvet (Leemujin Service, Ep.92); Belle from Kiss of Life on Ep.93; Kim Sejeong on Ep 79; D.O from EXO on Ep. 81; and Bang Ye Dam Ep.90 !!!!

Yeah, the second time I watched it, I noticed how much eye contact they were making. It's funny, cuz a couple weeks ago RiVerse had a show and the same thing happened to us - our music was slowed down for some reason - and we were making these exact faces to each other on stage 😂😂 But I also like the way this performance you could focus JUST on the vocal performance. They sound amazing!!! I'll watch the Weekly Idol videos soon (on my own time)!

Seriously, I think they are my fave girl group now too (I'm sooooo sorry, RV!!! 😭) The First Take is fun - I was looking through their channel last night. It's a Japanese show, which is why I think we don't see it as often. But there are a lot of k-pop groups that do the Japanese versions of their songs there - I'll check them all out one day! I STILL HAVEN'T SEEN Leemujin Service!! Maybe that'll be a good livestream to do! Just binge-watch some of the best performances!

Ooohhh, a livestream of Leemujin Service would be amazing, because then all the requests would just be about which artist's episode to watch and we'd all -- especially those of us fairly new to K-Pop - get quite a bit more insight into the artist even outside hearing their voices because a little bit of an interview is involved. Cool.
