Hi guys! For the past week I have been uploading my reactions to Patreon directly since I have a certain amount of hours per month and I can upload the videos in better quality than in Dropbox because I have limited space there (and I'm actually running out :') that's why I started using Patreon) I have been told the Patreon video player lags so if it lags for you let me know and I'll upload and edit the Dropbox link here! I (in lower quality, like I've always done there)

In Dropbox, you will be able to stream only an hour of video, if the reaction is over an hour and you'd like to see the rest of it you're gonna have to download the reaction. Sorry about that.

Only You- Thank you very much for this great reaction for another great episode, and part one of this finale for Once Upon a Time, Sora! And while I do really love these episodes together as a whole... I do have to admit that this two part finale for season five, is actually my least favorite two part finale throughout the entire show. I do enjoy these episodes overall. Especially the second part, because there are some really good scenes, moments, and storylines I do really enjoy within these episodes. And yet... For me, there is sadly more that I actually dislike within these episodes than I like. Which makes me feel that this is the weakest finale. But I will come back to all this momentarily... As for what I love and enjoy within this episode... One of my favorite moments, is when Roland says goodbye to Zelena. Although, it is sad that he can't say goodbye to Regina too. More so... I love that Roland gives Zelena a feather from one of his father's arrows to give to Regina from him. It's so sweet. Roland is adorable, and I love seeing Roland also kiss his baby sister as Zelena assures him that she, Robin (her daughter), and Regina will come to Sherwood Forest to visit them soon. And yes... I feel so badly for Roland too, because he has now lost both of his parents, and at such a young age. So heartbreaking. Also... I really appreciate that we also get even the slightest bit of closure for all of the rest of the characters who came over to Storybrooke from Camelot in Dark Hook's and Dark Swan's dark curse... Merida, Guinevere, the Knights of the Round Table, etc... have all returned to their own lands, and Roland with Robin's Merry Men have all returned home to the Sherwood Forest, because they believe that Robin would want Roland to be raised in their original home, now that Robin is gone and they no longer have any real ties to Storybrooke. Next... I also really love that Killian, David, Snow, and Zelena wind up trapped within a mysterious new realm after Zelena's magic used to send everyone else home, goes awry, due to Gold tethering all of Storybrooke's magic to the remains of the Olympian Crystal! And I love that upon them landing in this new realm, we are introduced to three new characters that sets up a major storyline coming up for season six... The story of Dr. Jekyll, Mr. Hyde, and the orderly known to be named, Poole. And so far... I really enjoy their characters, and I feel intrigued by their stories. Also... I really enjoy the scenes between our heroes and Hyde, as well as the scenes between them and Jekyll inside the room where they're being held prisoners. Hyde is very threatening, especially when he so easily chokes Killian simply for mentioning the Dark One and attempting to question Hyde's motives, while David fights to keep Hyde from killing his friend. Thankfully, Hyde releases Killian the moment Snow mentions that Gold has fallen in love. I absolutely appreciate seeing David protect Killian, especially since Killian has just come back from the dead. And once again, it shows how much David has grown to really care about Killian. I also really love seeing David hug Killian in the background of the earlier scene at Granny's while everyone's at Robin's wake, just after Killian rushes inside to make sure everyone is okay upon Gold stealing all of Storybrooke's magic. I absolutely love, love, love Killian's and David's friendship! I always have, especially ever since they bonded quite a bit back in season three's fifth episode, titled... Good Form, when Killian saves David's life from the dreamshade poisoning in Neverland. And throughout this episode... I really love Zelena's snarkiness as well!! She's so funny, and she really does have some of the best lines throughout this show!! :) I love hearing Robin's voice as Regina is seen reading the letter he had written for her while he was living in New York with Roland and Marian/Zelena. I love that Regina finds a letter from him that reminds her of just how much he loved her and how much he truly believed in her. It's beautiful. A beautiful, but also a sad moment. Oh... And I also love that Regina finds this letter inside a book of our world's legends about Robin Hood, revealed by her that this book had been given to him some time ago by Regina. I love that Regina then shares with Emma about how she and Robin used to laugh at everything these books and the legends told about him got wrong. So fun!! Next... Even though I wholeheartedly disagree with him, I like how we learn within this episode, that Neal had been searching for a way to try to destroy magic before Emma and his father ever came back into his life. Because it makes sense that someone who did always hate magic such as Neal did, would want to see it destroyed. Especially so that his father would have never been able to use it to find him. I also love that Violet then sees the Holy Grail's dark twin, and quickly deduces that it could have the power to destroy magic since the Holy Grail is the beginning of all magic. I love the idea behind the Holy Grail having a dark twin that has the potential of doing the opposite from that of its brother. Is this too easy of a way for Henry to succeed in his plans? Maybe. However, I do like the overall idea of there being a dark twin to this grail, that does the opposite of the Holy Grail. And then... I absolutely love how this episode introduces us to potential new characters, as we see numerous classic stories in new volumes of the numerous Authors' storybooks hidden in plain sight within one of New York City's oldest libraries!! Stories for classic novel characters such as Gulliver from Gulliver's Travels, Don Quixote from Don Quixote, Paul Bunyan and Babe, Paul Bunyan's big blue ox from the tall tales of Paul Bunyan, etc... And because we are already introduced to Jekyll and Hyde from The Strange Case of Jekyll and Hyde... This reveals to us that a number of characters from a number of classic novels outside of just Doctor Frankenstein, whom we have known now since the very beginning of this show, as well as tall tales, nursery rhymes, myths and legends, and their characters could all be very real too!! Not just the stories and characters written in fairy tales. And I absolutely love, love, love this!!! Fabulous!!! :) Oh... And I also love seeing a wide shot of the new world surrounding the hospital, where our heroes are being held prisoner now at the hands of Mr. Hyde! A world that we learn far more about in the second half of this finale. And I love seeing how colorful and vast this new world is! I love seeing the aircraft, known from the classics as a dirigible. Classics such as the books written by Jules Verne. And now, as for what I dislike about this episode... First... I hate Gold all the more for once again choosing power over Belle, as Hyde opens a portal to take her and Pandora's Box from him. Of course he chooses power. This isn't a twist that takes me by surprise. I am not at all surprised by Gold's decision to save the magic tethered to the Olympian Crystal over rushing over to protect Belle inside of Pandora's Box. I expected it. I still just hate Gold for his decision, and he makes me so mad throughout this episode. Ugh! Second... While I absolutely love Regina, and I of course feel so badly for her, as well as understand what she's feeling... And while I love how beautifully acted Regina's monologue to Emma is by Lana Parrilla... I also can't help but feel very annoyed by her wallowing in self pity during her scenes with Emma inside of Neal's apartment in New York. I absolutely understand why she feels like she won't ever be able to be truly happy right now. However, she's so pessimistic and acts like she's the only one who is suffering. She isn't. Killian, and even Gold to some degree, as well as all other redeemed villains, as well as Emma are all suffering too. Yes... Emma does get pulled back from the precipice just before she becomes consumed by the Darkness when she had been the Dark One, but she has still made many mistakes that she deeply regrets. Mistakes from which she is suffering and dealing with the consequences from too. So is Killian, who did become fully consumed by the Darkness when he had been the Dark One, as well as his own inner darkness when he chose to become Captain Hook and a pirate upon losing his brother and his first love. And yet... Killian completely accepts who he had been and who he is, and he doesn't ever try to blame anyone else for his dark and evil deeds. He absolutely blames himself for everything. Regina has done terrible things, and therefore she must suffer the consequences, learn to forgive herself, make amends, and move on. I believe that she can truly be happy. Just as Emma believes, and I love how strong Emma is when she assures Regina of this. However, Regina can't allow her grief from Robin's death continue to swallow her like she allowed it to consume her after Daniel's death. She can be happy. She just needs to see herself and the Evil Queen, as one person and not as two. Because they are one, and Regina never can seem to see this, which annoys me more and more. And thirdly... My least favorite storyline within this episode, is Henry's and Violet's storyline. Just like I said in my comments back under your reaction for season two's episode, titled... Welcome to Storybrooke, and under some of your reactions to the episodes within season three's Neverland arc... Episodes such as Think Lovely Thoughts, Save Henry, and Going Home... I absolutely hate how wishy washy Henry is towards magic. First, he loves magic, then he hates magic and tries to destroy it, then he fights to save magic again, and now he's back to wanting to destroy it again here in this finale, only to immediately want to save it again for his family trapped in this new realm and within these final two episodes of season five. I find his back and forth with magic to be very annoying, and tedious too. But more so... In season two, Henry also says the same about magic being the cause for everything bad that happens to everyone. Back in season two's episode, titled... Welcome to Storybrooke. And he's now saying so again. That magic is the root of everything bad happening right now. The cause of Robin's death, Killian's death, Neal's death, Violet's mother's death, the cause of Regina's suffering, the reason why Emma and Regina are once again at odds with one another, etc... However, like I mentioned in my comments under your reaction for Welcome to Storybrooke, magic is only the weapon used to cause all of this pain. Magic is not the cause. Those who use the magic to cause others' pain and suffering, are the problem. The people who hurt others using magic. Hades killed Robin. Arthur caused Killian to die when he cut him with Excalibur in Camelot. Neal dies because of his own choices, and not at Zelena's hands like the show's creators and writers have tried to convince us of. Regina is suffering because of Hades and because she has to deal with the consequences of her own bad and evil choices. And both of Henry's mothers are now at odds with one another, because neither one of them at first, have handled the aftermath of all that's happened in the right way. And instead of trying to listen and understand one another, they snap at one another or jump to the wrong conclusions. Both Emma and Regina try to ban one another from helping solve their problems upon them losing the men they love, first in the previous episode, tiled... Last Rites, when Regina and Emma's parents try to prevent her from helping while she grieves for Killian, and now in this episode too, as Emma tries to ban Regina upon her losing Robin too. I am just sick of Henry blaming everyone's past and current problems... all on magic, when he is absolutely wrong. Especially when he fights to protect magic so often outside of these two times when he's turned against it. When Henry gets ideas like this and goes against his family's wishes so he can act on them, I can't help but dislike Henry's character. I love Henry as a character overall throughout this show! Especially in these later seasons from season four onwards. However, I am quite angry with how he's written to be so wishy washy towards magic throughout this show too. After all... Henry used to get himself into quite a bit of trouble in the past, because he has acted recklessly at times. Especially in seasons one and two. when he constantly keeps running off to do things on his own. He's older now, and more wise too. But he still makes reckless decisions from time to time. Overall... I still really enjoy this episode! Like I've mentioned above. I just wish that certain aspects within this episode were written a little differently. I love Henry. I really do. But sometimes... I can't help but feel very annoyed by him as well. And unfortunately, this is one of the episodes where I feel annoyed with him. Thank you once again for another fun reaction for a great episode, Sora! Sincerely, Heidi
