Hi guys! For the past week I have been uploading my reactions to Patreon directly since I have a certain amount of hours per month and I can upload the videos in better quality than in Dropbox because I have limited space there (and I'm actually running out :') that's why I started using Patreon) I have been told the Patreon video player lags so if it lags for you let me know and I'll upload and edit the Dropbox link here! I (in lower quality, like I've always done there)

In Dropbox, you will be able to stream only an hour of video, if the reaction is over an hour and you'd like to see the rest of it you're gonna have to download the reaction. Sorry about that.

Dark Waters- Thank you very much for such a fun reaction to the first of my favorite episodes this season, Sora! I absolutely love this episode!! With the exception of one of my least favorite scenes and storylines throughout all of Once Upon a Time, which I will come back to shortly... First, regarding which story Captain Nemo and his ship, the Nautilus comes from... Captain Nemo and his ship, the Nautilus, comes from the classic novel... 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, written by Jules Verne. Who is another one of my very favorite authors!! It's a fantastic classic, and so I am happy this story comes into Once Upon a Time!!! And it's great that 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea isn't the only Jules Verne classic referenced in this episode's storyline either. Nemo also talks to Hook in the backstory about them seeking this new land known by the Mysterious Island, which... here in Once Upon a Time, Killian later tells Liam that this island is also known as the Land of Untold Stories, where young Liam and Nemo has been staying all these years until Hyde had brought over so many of the people from this land to Storybrooke. The Mysterious Island is another fantastic novel written by Jules Verne too! Which is also actually referenced to very early on in this show, as Ruby talks about it being her favorite book written by Jules Verne to Belle, in season two's episode, titled... Tiny. You mentioned here in your reaction that you would be interested in watching any movies about Captain Nemo and the Nautilus. Well... You have actually seen a movie I requested for you late last year with Captain Nemo in it, along with Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. This movie was A League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Both Jekyll and Hyde, and Captain Nemo were heroes a part of Allan Quartermaine's (Sean Connery's character in the movie) team. Also... There is a classic Disney movie, titled... Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea starring Kurt Douglas. I was originally planning to request this movie for you back in March. However, I wound up choosing to replace this movie with Ghost instead. Because I felt that you might not enjoy this Disney classic from the 60s. However, sometime in the future, if you would be interested in watching it one day, then I might be willing to request it for you again. And second, in regards to Hook being with Nemo during the time of Regina's dark curse... If in case you don't remember, during the twenty-eight years of the curse, Hook and Cora were frozen in time upon Cora casting the spell to freeze the small corner of the Enchanted forest where they, as well as Mulan, Aurora, Phillip, and others were. However, if you also remember back to season two's premiere episode... Mulan explains to Aurora that there had been a point during the time of the curse that time unfroze and time resumed, allowing her and Phillip to continue on in their search for Aurora. We also learn in this episode that the time resume Mulan is referring to, happens upon Emma's arrival in Storybrooke, in the moment that she decides to stay in town for a week for Henry revealed in the very end of season one's Pilot episode as the minute hand of the clock tower finally moves. So, to answer your question about the time in which Hook and Captain Nemo are interacting in this episode's backstory... This backstory is set during the time of the dark curse, after Emma arrives and moves to Storybrooke, but before she breaks the first curse. Hook and Cora must have parted ways for a bit during all the time Emma was in Storybrooke before she finally came to believe. Hence... The time during the dark curse. I hope this long explanation helps you, Sora. :) And third, in regards to Belle and how misused her character has grown to become written, in my opinion... I really love Belle's story arc within the first two, even three seasons, in spite of the few moments with her, and between her and Rumple that do annoy me. However, starting in season four... Belle's character really falls way downhill for me, in spite of season four's midseason finale episode, titled... Heroes and Villains, containing my absolute favorite moment for Belle throughout the entire show! When she forces Rumple to leave Storybrooke by crossing the town line. And yes... It is very disheartening to see how poorly her character is written in these later seasons. At least throughout seasons four, five, and six. Because Belle is one of my favorite Disney princesses. She does have a couple of backstories that don't directly involve Rumple. Backstories only, that is. At least two that I can think of. Season four's episode, titled... Family Business, where she meets Anna in Arendelle, and in season five's episode, titled... Her Handsome Hero, when Belle works with Gaston to discover whether or not an ogre child is really a monster. With all this being said... Belle most certainly deserves more than what she is given throughout all of Once Upon a Time. And now... I am so happy you are continuing to love Killian as a character, Sora!! I absolutely love his character, and seeing his character growth all throughout this show, and how Killian is the one character who has shown the most growth since the beginning of his character's redemption. We have seen both Gold/Rumple, as well as Regina fall back down. Rumple especially, but Regina started to redeem herself in the beginning of season two, until Cora came along and ruined everything, as Regina became evil all over again, as well as in the beginning of season four upon Marian's/Zelena's arrival in Storybrooke as she plots with Sidney briefly to try to kill Marian. She's also cut out the evil side of her in an attempt to believe that she and the Evil Queen are two people, as if she's not to blame for her actions. And yes... Rumple is constantly doing vile things. His most redemptive season has been throughout season three, and he did pretty good, but he ultimately failed when he vowed to kill Zelena to get his revenge against her for "killing" Neal, and worse... in season four when he sought more and more power and used Killian to get it upon ripping out Killian's heart. So, yes... Killian has by far shown the most growth and redemption throughout this show, and he's never faltered. And I absolutely love, love, love him for this!!!! :) As for this overall episode... For the most part, I absolutely love this episode!! Especially for Killian's story arc, which I absolutely love, love, love!!! Both in the present day storyline and in the backstory as well!! I love that we finally get to learn what comes of Killian's younger brother, Liam, ever since we learned about him back in season five's episode, titled... Swan Song! And I really enjoy getting to know Captain Nemo too! I like the actor who plays him... Faran Tahir, from other movies as well. He's a great character! Regarding Liam... I think I really expected younger Liam to hold onto his grudge and hatred against Killian a lot longer. Especially given that Killian had murdered his father and left him to fend for himself ever since he was just a young boy. And you absolutely see Liam's hatred for Killian in both storylines. I am just surprised that he appears to have forgiven Killian by the end of this episode. And a part of me kind of wishes that Liam had held onto his anger against Killian, solely for the purpose of a possibility for a continuing storyline where Killian would have a more difficult time trying to prove to Liam that he's changed into a better man, while Liam seeks to hurt him. I think if this would have been so, the Evil Queen's plan could have actually worked out for her. A different way from what she had planned, of course. But it still would have worked out in her favor, and all of her plans to try to destroy our heroes wouldn't all appear to be failing for her. Nonetheless... Killian does stop Liam from making the same mistake that he had made back when he had killed their father, shown in season five's midseason finale, titled... Swan Song, and Killian doesn't kill Liam in spite of Liam threatening to kill him. And Liam of course recognizes this and is grateful to Killian for sparing his life and for showing him that they can both change for the better. So, in spite of my wish for a bit of a different story arc for Killian and young Liam... I still really appreciate that they make up in the end and that we do see the possibility that they can become brothers!! I really love this overall storyline between these brothers, and love getting to know younger Liam and Captain Nemo too! I also enjoy Nemo's story, as he seeks out Hook so he can try to help Hook make peace with himself and to let go of his hatred against the Dark One. Even if he goes about doing so by kidnaping him first. One of my only real dislikes of this overall storyline... I hate that Henry really annoys me throughout most of this episode until the ending. I mean... I get it. Henry is a growing teenager, and is therefore moody. I just absolutely hate how he treats Killian throughout most of this episode. It feels so out of the blue, and so strange to me. Thankfully, Henry eventually comes to see that Killian is only trying to protect him, and to be the father figure he wants to be for him. And I suppose a part of Henry's cold attitude towards Killian is that he feels like Killian is trying to replace his father. But Killian isn't. He just wants desperately to be a part of a family with Emma, Henry, Snow, and Charming. Part of a family again, ever since his father destroyed his so long ago when he sold his two oldest sons into slavery. Killian isn't trying to replace Neal by any means. He loves Emma, Henry, and Neal too much. As for Killian hiding the shears inside the toolbox and in the shed, then him and Henry later casting them into the ocean locked up inside the chest... I absolutely think that it is silly that Killian would hide the shears in a toolbox inside the shed. I thought so immediately. I would think that Killian would have hid them someplace far more secure, like inside his safe he keeps aboard the Jolly Roger, that can only be opened by the key that is a part of his hook. He also could have gotten Regina to cast a protection spell of sorts over it too. Anything else. However, I blame the writers for having Killian put the shears where he does. And yes... While I understand why Killian and Henry later cast the shears inside the chest into the ocean, I expected that the Evil Queen could have a way of retrieving them. And of course, she would know that Killian kept them to begin with, and where he would have hid them away. Because Regina throughout season one kept claiming she had eyes everywhere, with help from her magic mirror. Of course, the Evil Queen would use her mirrors to spy on everyone now too. So, in all honesty, I really wish that Killian had been written to keep them. And in the end... Killian makes up with young Liam and reunites his brother with Nemo, who thankfully survives having been nearly killed by Liam years earlier thanks to them travelling to the Land of Untold Stories where his story froze, as did the wound that surely would have killed him much sooner if they hadn't have travelled there with the key they found in the chest. And then... Killian confesses everything to Emma and explains to her that he kept the shears solely because he was afraid to lose the one thing that could save her. I know Killian tells Henry he doesn't know if he would have forced the way of saving Emma on her out of desperation or not. He is clearly terrified of losing Emma and is thinking with his emotions. However, I really do believe that Killian wouldn't ever force anything on Emma, even if it is to save her life. Because Killian does know how it feels to have something he hates forced upon him after Emma forced him to become the Dark One in order to save his life. I don't believe he would turn around and do the same thing to Emma against her wishes. I just really love Killian's story throughout this episode!! So good, and I absolutely love how Killian protects Henry by sacrificing the only chance he has to escape so that Henry can get back home to Emma. And finally... Henry changes his attitude towards Killian, and stops being so rude to him. And I love that Henry assures Killian that he is a part of their family. Even though he does so jokingly. Killian still understands. Next... I also really enjoy the side story between Emma and Aladdin as well. It's sweet that Emma is able to help Aladdin, so that he can return to Jasmine again and help her to save Agrabah. And then... I really love how Regina and the Evil Queen are very much two different people in the way that Lana Parrilla plays both characters!!! It's fantastic to see each of their characteristics brought out due to who they are!! With this being said... My biggest dislike within this episode's storylines, is that I am not at all a fan of the two scenes between the Evil Queen and Gold. I absolutely hate, hate, hate seeing Regina flirt with Gold. Far more than I hated seeing him flirt with Cora. It's just as creepy seeing them kiss and make out, as it is upon seeing Gold with Zelena too, as was seen throughout the Wicked Witch arc in season three. Yuck!! I do believe the Evil Queen is simply flirting with him, and is pretending to have this fling with him because she's using him. It certainly wouldn't make sense any other way. Overall... I absolutely love this episode! Killian's and young Liam's story arc is fantastic!!! I am happy you really enjoyed this episode a lot too! So, thank you very much, Sora! You're amazing! Sincerely, Heidi
