Hi guys! For the past week I have been uploading my reactions to Patreon directly since I have a certain amount of hours per month and I can upload the videos in better quality than in Google Drive because I have limited space there, that's why I started using Patreon. I have been told the Patreon video player lags so if it lags for you let me know and I'll upload and edit the Drive link here! (in lower quality, sorry!)

Tougher Than the Rest- Thank you once again for this fun reaction to this eleventh episode. titled... Tougher Than the Rest, Sora! For the most part, I really enjoy this episode a lot! Although... There are definitely some moments or scenes I don't care much for, or that have their flaws for sure. Just like in any episode. However, I really love this episode overall! First of all... Hook within this Wish Realm for me, is very cringey and I always have a very hard time watching this scene whenever he's onscreen. I know that it's absolutely meant to be funny. I think that I was just hoping for something different for the Wish Realm version of Hook. Something more, with more depth. Maybe a broken, in despair version of him, who isn't just ridiculous and goofy. Or perhaps even the possibility of seeing him on his death bed. A version of him that would make Emma come to understand more of why her Killian really struggles so much with believing in himself. I don't really know for sure. I just wasn't expecting to see Hook as an old fat drunkard, but maybe dying from a curse forced on him by Rumpelstiltskin. That would have been much better, I think. But this is just me. Yet with this being said... While this scene is cringey, I do actually love the moment towards the ending of this episode, when Robin from the Wish Realm states to Killian from Storybrooke, that he's looking much spryer here in this world and in his younger years, as Killian looks between him and Emma while he struggles to understand what Robin means. And I love how Emma states that he's going to have to start drinking more water and less rum. The look on Killian's face in this moment is priceless, and so adorable. I love it!! Colin O'Donoghue spoke in an interview that he absolutely loved playing this fat old drunkard version of himself, because it was so much fun for him to play. And I am definitely happy that he was able to have this experience, to play a very, very different version of who he normally is. As far as Gideon is concerned... I find it interesting that he wants to kill Emma, only because he believes that by doing so, he can become the new Savior and help the people being terrorized by the Black Fairy. I'm glad he doesn't want her dead out of some kind of revenge plot. We've had a lot of revenge plots throughout this show already. However, him killing anyone, especially in cold blood, doesn't make him a hero or a Savior either. Obviously, this is the wrong kind of thinking and Gideon's plan shouldn't work. Let's hope the heroes can stop him and save Emma. But once again with this being said... Emma really protects herself this time and amazingly kicks Gideon's butt. I love how she is able to fight through her fear and fire her light magic at him to knock him down. Clearly, this fight isn't the very fight we see in the visions of her death, because Emma wins this fight. And not because Emma's wearing different clothes and her loved ones shown in the background of her vision aren't exactly who we see in the background of this fight either. Remember... In this season's premiere episode, titled... The Savior, the Oracle tells Emma that the circumstances within her vision can change. However, on the day she is destined to die, she will die. So, how she dies, who is standing behind her, where the battle takes place, and the clothes she's wearing, all in her vision, might not be what comes about when she is actually fighting her final battle. And plus... It's so early on for Emma to be fighting her final battle too. Gideon has just arrived in Storybrooke. Also... Snow isn't there when they fight either. I suspect that they will find a way to break the Evil Queen's curse over Snow and David, and that Emma's big fight against Gideon will come much later. Also, I like that the reason why the others aren't able to come to her aid as we see in her visions, is because Gideon freezes them. And he might do so again when the real fight begins. Of course, I feel bad for Belle, and even a little for Gold. However, I guess the real question is... Will he gain a better relationship with his son by helping him to kill Emma, or will Gold do the right thing for once in his life? And will this be the beginning of Gold and Belle mending their relationship yet again? Honestly... Belle's and Gold's story arc within this episode is my least favorite story arc. I really just don't care much for their characters right now. So, seeing them working together, and not being able to believe anything Rumple has to say, is a real struggle. So, their story arc in this episode just annoys me more than anything else. As for August's, or Pinocchio's story arc within this episode... I absolutely love that we get to see August again, as well as a Wish Realm version of him too!! And I really love him in the Wish Realm! I love that he makes a new magic wardrobe for them to return home through, thanks to Emma helping him to find belief in himself, just like he's done for her so often. And Pinocchio is most wonderfully understanding. And then... I absolutely love seeing a young version of August within the brief backstory, showing us how he inspired Emma to choose Swan as her last name!! So beautiful and sweet. I love how he helps Emma get off the streets. Amazing! :) We all know that Pinocchio had been tasked with helping Emma to stay on her path in becoming the Savior by his father, as is shown back in season one's episode, titled... The Stranger. And we see August do so for her once before, when August appeared to Neal and broke Emma and Neal apart by convincing Neal she has a destiny. As is shown in season two's episode, titled... Tallahassee, as well as in season two's episode, titled... Selfless, Brave, and True. Emma and August are best friends, and they've always had a brother and sister like relationship. In this episode... August is just trying to look out for Emma this time too. And I love it!! :) And the ending moment between Emma and August inside his father's workshop, is absolutely beautiful! I absolutely love Emma's and August's friendship! And I really wish that August had been in Once Upon a Time so much more than he is. Because I really love his character and seeing him and Emma together. And I really would have loved to see a friendship grow between August and Killian, given that Killian is Emma's True Love, and that August is her closest friend. Talk about an opportunity missed. What a friendship Killian and August would have made. Now... I actually quite love the overall storyline shared between the Wish Realm version of Robin Hood and Regina very much!! And much more than I expected I would. I was just worried about him returning, because I feared it might be too tedious to show them fall in love again, and because this version of Robin is so different from the original Robin we love. Or at least the Robin I love from before. However, I am just so happy Robin Hood is back and in Storybrooke!! I just love the moments shared between Regina and Robin, as she talks to him about his original self, and how she chooses to believe that Robin may live on inside of him! And of course... Rumpelstiltskin in the Wish Realm once again makes an appearance to betray Regina. And poor Belle within this world. The Wish Realm version of the Evil Queen actually allows the Wish Realm version of Belle to suffer and die inside of her cell, because the curse was never casted and therefore Belle remained Wish Realm Evil Queen's prisoner. Which is so dark. And like always... I like that we get to see the Wish Realm version of Rumplestiltskin again, no matter how brief his appearance is!! Oh... And we even see glimpses of the Black Fairy in the flashbacks too, which is cool. When we see Gideon thinking back to what's happened to him over the years in which he grew up upon his parents questioning him about what's happened to him inside Gold's shop. And lastly... I absolutely love, love, love each of the small scenes between Killian and David within this episode, as well as between David and a sleeping Snow White!! David certainly is becoming darker and more hopeless, and it's clear that the Evil Queen's curse is weighing heavily on him, as is his guilt from the wish he made, since it had allowed for Gideon to arrive in Storybrooke. I really hope that Killian will be the one to help him return to being the Charming he really is. Since if anyone knows how darkness can destroy a person, it's definitely Killian. Overall... This is a great episode, and I really loved watching your reaction for it, Sora! Thank you, my dear friend! :) Sincerely, Heidi
