You guys’ face when Suzu revealed about the divergence number is me when I watched the show for the first time 😂

Kuutearica

Yeah, this episode is so good man..

monsters2312

The voice actors in this show are SO good especially Okabe's voice actor, Mamoru Miyano

Ryo

Every time John TItor's messages came up, it was voiced over by a man with a deep voice, to throw off the audience perfectly

1. Wes mentioned immortality in this and the previous reaction in regards to the time leap machine, and this ties directly to Heidegger's philosophy; the time leap machine is removing what makes us humans, and there's more to say on this later on. 2. In this episode, Kurisu talked about "cause and effect" and "fatalism," and the Free Will vs Determinism debate has been discussed in philosophy and has history in physics (Albert Einstein was known to be a determinist). Can we save Mayuri or is she fated to always die at a given time? 3. Rewatch value is good for this show and it's interesting to see all the little details that you missed. For example, when Suzuha first met Okabe, we learned that she has never seen corn, and with this being a time traveling show, something should have clicked with most people. Also, it's very telling to know that a simple commodity such as corn is rare or non-existent since, for example, this could imply that the world in the future has been devasted to the point where agriculture is impossible. *In any case, it's preferable to not rewatch episodes until you finished the show. 4. On a side note and in real life, David Deutsch is currently a physicist at the University of Oxford, and is a supporter of the MWI. He believes that we'll be able to someday detect differences in our "worlds" in a similar vein to the Divergence meter with the help of a quantum computer, but the MWI remains controversial within the physics community. 5. This show will keep getting better, and there are quite a few more surprises.

After watching this show I had the urge to come up with a secret phrase that any time traveler could tell me in a 2nd,3rd,nth loop while talking to me so that we can avoid wasting time trying to prove that they time traveled

Renden

Do those numbers look familiar at all?

Alex5AVA6E

I wish you guys would do more than 1 episode a week!!!!😭🙏Im so glad you guys are loving this show! It’s truly one of the greatest experiences I’ve ever had watching an anime! Also watch Season 2 when you’re done!!!! It’s PEAK!

T T

Yeah where is hxh and vinland

RCG

I know it may sound weird, but sometimes they release stuff a few hours later or, as we saw yesterday, even earlier than usual.

Josh Ashford

Just what I was thinking, been refreshing patreon for 2 hours lol

Cheese

i just got home and super sleepy and was hoping the reactions were out to watch before bed xD i will wait a bit cause that both hxh and vinland eps are gonna cook

Lena

Everybody thinking the same 😭. Dk how their uploads work but maybe it’s bc of Vinland saga, probably smth else

Chels

I love Suzu so much. She is too cool 😍

Renden

Watching this episode and then going back to see episode 1 is so jarring. Remember when you guys used to ask if Okabe was a reliable narrator just because he was so zany? Imagine being the other lab members, being used to that, and then all of a sudden Okarin picks up a phone call and turns into basically a different person. Scary.

Yellow_Flash

Steins Gate is goated 🗣‼️

Kindyh Bordat

I'm actually a student in psy too, and i too don't remember the name of those scientist XD. Don't worry about it

Kindyh Bordat

She said her father was a something Titor. DAMN WTF WAS THAT REVEAL

Godspeedhero

To be fair, that's Okabe reading it to himself in his head using a made up John Titor voice. Clever writing and direction for sure.
