Okay off topic. Scary reaction request. But you guys are good bts reactors. I think y’all should react to American hustle life soon. This show is extremely painful to watch💀the second hand embarassment I had during my watch is crazy. But this is a canon event every army has to watch this show okay😭sure it’s cringe…and yes I had to pause several times to take a walk around my room because I was so embarassed. And I also did get pissed off a lot. BUT YOU STILL HAVE TO WATCH IT SOMEDAY…

Cheese

Early upload, what a sweet surprise

Calt Being

you can watch the opening!

Adam

Yes, they can watch the opening now without spoilers

Canute’s theology is crazy. I can’t think of many people who believe in God, but oppose him. Maybe some philosophers. Lots of people reject their religion, but they usually just become atheists.

Araragi Senpai

The story of King Canute and the tide is an apocryphal anecdote meant to illustrate the piety or humility of King Canute the Great recorded in the 12th century by Henry of Huntingdon. Canute demonstrates to his flattering courtiers that he has no control over the elements (the incoming tide), explaining that secular power is vain compared to the supreme power of God.

Steph, lot of the older videos that were on streamables aren't playing. Please do something about that. like spy x family earlier episodes, chainsaw man as well. Update: it's working again! Had to restart my devices. 😖

RCG

Maybe it's your browser or something? They seem to be working fine, at least for me. (Or maybe my browser is the weird one? :D)

Calt Being

I tried it on safari, firefox and my phone but not working. try playing chainsawman ep 1.

RCG

I did; it works for me on Chrome. I just rewatched it not too long ago, so I thought it was weird that it’s apparently not working anymore.

Calt Being

installed Chrome, still not working. I don't think it matters if it's a mac or windows, because it's not working on my smartphone as well. (Tried it on Mac and android)

RCG

I guess we need some other people to confirm which one of us is the problem. :D

SkidMcPongs

chainsaw man ep 1 works for me (on mobile) if that's one you're having trouble with

Calt Being

Chainsaw man ep1 - 7 and spyxfamily ep1 - 20

DesmaAlt Unboxing

I'm on windows firefox and the chainsaw man (1-7) works for me, I didn't check all the spy family ones, but the ones i did all work.

Calt Being

🥲 i think its just me

Canute has changed people, there was no raiding, no pillaging here, he has fundamentally challenged Viking culture.

Zak

So, at this point in the story I'd say Thorfinn want's spiritual virtue and a morally clean self, whilst promoting it to others as a sort of teacher. Whilst Canute wants actual material results (land, money and the authority to carry out his design), he wants to re-shape life in a fundamental way and throughout history that has always led to bloodshed (French Revolution for example), he understands that his goal must be paid in blood (because in reality, if he just asked nicely the Jarls would kill him), Thorfinn can afford passive talk, Canute can't.

yeess Thorfinn said the thing

Vishwa Joshi

I have the same problem, some countries have banned stremable

learning to count objects in Japanese is so hard. Its not like counting numbers by itself. The word changes depending on the type of thing your counting. Like what the numbers are called for counting small animals is different to big animals

Araragi Senpai

You're welcome! I was floored when I learned about this myself, had to share the info. The author sure did his research!
