yes she took a man (who is accepting money from a hostile government to fund the overthrow of British society) away from his baby.....oh well, is my honest reaction. If we extrapolate to a modern context of an ISIS agent in Britain or the US working to overthrow the government, I don't think we'd be acting so upset if they were arrested at their kids birth. Freddie is a terrorist (I like him as a character but still). So, I don't blame Grace at all for what she did in this situation.

Yeah, I agree. Your partner giving birth to your child doesn't magically absolve you of your crimes. The police knew it was a rare opportunity to finally be able to catch Freddie, so they acted on Grace's information immediately. To be fair, Stephie did acknowledge that she is biased in this circumstance due to being a mom herself.

don't know if it is a parent thing, but im 100% on Graces side on that matter. i don't and wouldn't care about criminals personal life. Taking it to extreme, but i wouldn't feel anything bad if Putin for example was found dead with his family and children, on the contrary i would be celebrating

Yaaaa.. I did get warned after watching ep 2 that there are no redeemable characters in this show and I'm starting to see it 😅 I will say though, I think Grace saved Ada in a way. The inspector was going to take in Ada with Freddie, remember? If Tommy wasn't the one to turn him in? So why didn't they take Ada? (Knowing how cruel they can be) I think it's because Grace might have said something or made a deal to keep Ada out of it, because ya, while Ada and baby aren't criminals, Freddie is, and had no intention on turning over a new leaf for his new family. He would've kept them on the run and in debt forever and probably grow to resent Ada as a Shelby still, even with baby being born

International laws of war allow for civilian casualties that are commensurate with the importance of eliminating a military target. In the case of war criminals such as Hitler or Putin, it would not be a problem if 1,000 innocent people died along with them. For example, if they continued to live, they would cause millions of casualties in the future. This may not be right from a moral point of view, but it is quite pragmatic.

a terrorist is a terrorist was my point (which was quite clear), fine lets say a January 6 rioter or something, point stands that legally it is inexcusable to risk letting a terrorist get away because of compassion for him having a baby, this shouldn't be controversial.
