I didn’t really like the first story. It felt like it was trying to be funny while dealing with a topic that was too serious/real, so it came across kind of weird and didn’t even give a proper conclusion at the end.

looking back on it, the first story gives the audience such a good set up wit exploring some dynamics of a married person being scared of their partner.... hmmmm i wonder what other married couple could have a similar story.....

I critique spy x family as much as anyone - but I will say that situations like that usually don’t have some swift resolution that can be tied in a bow, so it would’ve felt a bit more weird to me with one. Glad they didn’t wrap it up, but hope they circle back to it at some point.

I love Spy Family. This is one of the very few stories I did not like and I agree that it is not something you can solve fast and easy if you want to handle it as a serious topic. But then maybe they should have taken more time for that story, like at least one whole episode. The way they tried to combine it with comedic elements and then ended it abruptly without showing us anything about them working it out did not feel good to me. He was literally screaming in panic, just thinking about his wife. Then we cut to the next day and he says it is getting gradually better out of nowhere.

Yes, they can probably find some recaps on YouTube to watch and remember not so much the plot points as the dynamics of the relationships between the characters, which is much more important!

Great question! Our favorite one is called His Needs Her Needs by Willard F. Harley Jr that we found to be the most helpful. I will say it approaches heavily from a Christian perspective so take that as you will!
