Shallots and onions definetly taste different. I would say onions slightly more acidic while shallots are milder sweeter its more fancy i'd say. Theres that extra punch of flavour in shallot that onion lacks. We use it a lot for Indian cooking since im Indian. I've also heard shallots are healthier this could be wrong but that they are more nutritious and easier to digest. I personally like shallot more but i only use them for special meals

YAY! Can't wait! The second season is just sooo happy and feel good. They're so relaxed and this episode especially feels so domestic with the cooking. Jungkook laughing wholeheartedly at Jimin imitating his cutting rhythm without cutting anything is one of my favourite scenes so far! :D

Loved it! I am so enjoying your Are you sure 2 reactions! This show is so entertaining. I like the interactions with their staff too. Adding the games was a good decision. I notice that I laugh the most during those games. Love the nickname for JK 'The pasta doctor'. His cutting skills are amazing. I am sure being a cook in the military made him even more skillfull and faster. Jimin got even funnier! I love that he is enjoying himself and the food. I just love the vibes and energy in this one. Got to say, biker Jungkook is something else 😍. Looking forward to episode 3. 💜💜

Well, for me it’s better because sometimes the quality drops, and the zoom is really helpful for reading, especially in this one, where the captions are both at the top and bottom 🤗 but maybe reduce the zoom a little bit idk

The new layout for the screen really helps blind folks like me but man, is it trippy 😂 I dunno if I can get used to it when the camera moves fast and everything is moving in various angles. 😵‍💫 But um.. ya buttermilk is a cooking ingredient only 😅 poor Wesley's stomach. You use buttermilk to make biscuits, pancake, bread.. basically anything with dough. Or you soak chicken in it to tenderize the meat. You can also curd your own buttermilk by getting whole milk and use a crap load of lemon juice in it, mix it, and let it sit. Careful not to mix too much or you make butter. As for shallots; I'm actually allergic to onions but I'm able to eat shallots. They're much more mild (not usually as potent to the eyes, but even if you get that lucky one that has a stronger odor, the flavor and the acidity are more mild than it smells) they are also sweeter similar to a red onion. But they burn very quickly so you have to watch them well. I like shallots for things like onion casserole or Asian dishes.

Dude - to make buttermilk when you don't have it for a recipe - you add vinegar to milk. It's sour on purpose. It's great for a pancake, waffle recipes

You missed the explanation staff gave them about where the looking into each other's eyes while toasting came from: Staff said you would look into each other's eyes to see whether the other person was deceiving you so they closed their eyes because they said they trust each other blindly. I have also heard of that origin: That clinking the glasses and looking into eo eyes was so that the drinks would mix a bit and you basically checked if the other one was trying to poison you

Buttermilk in india where I am from, is thought of very differently, hehe I love buttermilk, we drink it with almost every meal, most people love it. but it's blending yogurt with water and some cilantro or salt or spices
