I absolutely love One Piece and if you guys can only fit it into your lives through One Pace that is a-okay with me. I’ve never seen One Pace so I don’t know how bad certain cuts will be but if there’s anything crazy horrible I could let you guys know in a comment :). Either way don’t listen to people who complain about you watching One Pace (there will probably be a lot of complainers lol). If this is the only way you can watch One Piece at a healthy rate then I hope you still take your time and enjoy this show as much as I have. ❤️ Happy One Piece Friday!

Interesting trivia but Shanks' voice actor is the same as Kite's in Hunter x Hunter. It's interesting how they're both mentor / father figures to their respective series' protagonist.

We had this on local tv growing up in the Philippines, so yeah it's been years in the making and I only remember bits of it..from what ppl said, about a thousand episodes now so idk how we're going to catch up for how long but I'm here for that lol

Man, this is becoming Gaslight: The Anime lol. Considering its been at least 10 years since watching full eps of the original and probably 5 years since reading the manga, there's just the occasional part of "wait... I swear a scene showing X happened right there.... but idr it being in the manga...". Otherwise looking forward to seeing how they manage to clean up eps 400+ since that's where the slowdown reallllly got noticeable

Regarding One Pace, I have a friend who watched One Pace at the same time I watched the regular One Piece. I was further agead when he started, and he watched One Pace to catch up with me, but he didn't have enough time, and I caught up with the anime before him. (Then I waited for him so we could catch up on the manga together) And I think I can say that when we talk about One Piece and make theories or things like that, there's nothing that i be like, "Hey, but you didn't see X part of the story you lack information" , and he doesn't feel me like I know more than him. So, for me, One Pace is always another good option for watching One Piece.

It got spammed under almost every video for the last two weeks. They’ve seen it; they even replied to one comment saying they’ll watch it. W&S have been doing this for quite some time now. Either they don’t care that much about the hype or they just can’t fit it into their schedule at the moment. Maybe try contacting them via the email from the sticky post if you’re that impatient. I know people want to see their reaction (me included) but it gets annoying at some point.

I don't understand why people always saying that spamming recommendations is annoying?! Like, scroll past it and don't acknowledge it if you don't like it! And I literally saw like 2 or 3 mentions of Chainsaw Man movie (maybe I missed some) For me, if people spamming something, it's showing to Wes and Steph that people are excited and really really want their reaction to something.

I also usually don't care but recently it feels like every other first comment on every upload is someone asking for either Chainsaw Man Movie or Made in Abyss and as a big fan of both I'm just left hoping that my fellow fans could be less annoying about it. But of course it's not like it's likely the same person asking about it every time and instead it's individuals not knowing about what has and hasn't been asked about already, so it's not really correct to say it's being spammed either. It's just unfortunate.

It's letters on the screen! How can it be annyoing? It's not like insults or anything. Just recommending what people want on the page where we are literally paying money and if a lot of people spamming something that gives sign to Wes and Steph that people that are paying them to watch them want that content!

It's annoying because the actions of the few loud ones are painting the rest of us as impatient and ungrateful. It's not about what should and shouldn't be considered annoying on a moral basis but the invariable perceptions people will have about us regardless of what you or I see it all as.

Ok my english language skills will not allow me to reply to you completely how I want since it's not my first language let's end it here. I just think it's better for content creator to know what their audience want and if all the people asking for something it's a good indicator

It's annoying because people come into these comments to discuss One Piece (or HxH, or MHA, or whatever other video you commented on), not Chainsaw Man. It's fine if you want to say something once, on one video or whatever, but this is the 4th time I've seen you post about this. It's annoying in the same way spam and ads are annoying. "It's letters on the screen!" is also a nonsensical take. What people say matters, whether it's in person or online. You could just as easily say "it's letters on a piece of paper" when talking about a book, and books have spawned revolutions.

The sticky post (not sure if they read that, tbh), the e-mail in that post probably and of course the recommendation-posts that are specifically made for that i would say. Also nobody ever said you can’t recommend something in the general comments of other series. But if you do it like every other day with the same series or movie, it starts to get annoying at some point if you ask me. And yes, I didn’t even mean you personally. As Infinite Winds says, it’s the accumulation of different people asking for it that’s getting “spammy,” which of course isn’t usually done in bad faith. They’ve seen it by now and even said they will watch it, so I guess we should give it some time.

You're in the minority in thinking the adaptation is terrible. Sure, it's an adaptation, but most people generally enjoy the show, One Piece fans included. I'm pretty sure it's the single highest rated anime live action adaptation ever made, by a big margin. Also, as NoSoupRice pointed out, a show can't spoil itself. If the things you think are spoilers were really spoilers, then the whole show is a spoiler.

I kinda see why it can be annoying but I still think if something big comes out like this movie and people spam it everywhere it can be beneficial to content creator since they now know that it is popular right now and they can profit from this through YouTube views or whatever P.S. and yeah, Chainsaw Man manga (specifically part 1) is one of my favourite mangas off all time and I really want them to watch the movie and know that people on patreon really want to see their reaction!

Sure as a live action, not a huge bar to beat. But compared to the manga and even the anime, it's pretty mid. It just suffers from the fact that they have to condense so much and change the storylines and cut out characters or introduce them 300 episodes early. To go from live action to anime is worse than already being a one piece fan then watching the live action as bonus media. It might only be worth it for normies that will never watch One Piece because of the length. This already being on a comment that people were complaining about them watching One Pace because of it already being condensed. If shows spoiling themselves doesn't matter then they might as well read certain episode titles right? It won't ruin anything. They didn't even really want to watch the intro because it shows the crew.

The live action is not "mid". It's absolute garbage. To have One Piece be linked to it is an insult. They butchered everyone's character, made things cringe. Luffy in the live action is absolutely not Luffy (the actor is good; the way he's written is not). Nami and Zoro are also unlike the original characters. Sanji and Ussop were okay. The dialogue is the cringiest thing I've seen.

I have Absolutely seen One Piece before. I caught up around ep 150'ish, so I restarted it until I got back to where they where (200 ish then), then restarted to catch up, again and again until I was at around ep 600 and something. then I just switched to the Manga as the fillers got too much even for me, and read that (and follow it weekly now). as well as having seen the first 13 movies, and also all of the Tv-Specials. All that to say, every single time, even now, I am bawling my eyes out for Chouchou lol. I also find it funny af that a human clearly voice the dog, but goddamnit that is one of the most emotional scenes for me. The show can be heavy at times, but no matter what other people say is the emotional parts, for me the top 3 is a wooden object (not specifying due to spoilers), This scene with Chouchou defending their shop. And there is also a 3D OP movie, that tbh is really badly made. But it also have a dog in it not wanting to be left behind by their master. (also you can say what you want about me for re-watching OP that many times lol. But I had massive depression, and OP was a really long term show so I knew I had something to look forward to in the future too. I am no longer depressed, but OP is still going strong)

I can understand why you’re watching one pace, but there are so many little gems in the show, that don’t show up til WAY later or others that show up right away that you’re going to be missing out on. In the regular show, the first character of the crew shown wasn’t even Luffy 😏

Its fine for me tbh when you realize everyone watches the show differently. Some watch the whole thing, some One Pace, some at english dub, some at East Blue saga, and now a lot will start on the One Piece remake by Wit Studio that will release soon. Its where at this point, as long as people watch One Piece, thats all that matters to me.
