Perfect timing, now I can watch this for 2 hours, go to sleep at 2 am and curse myself when i wake up tomorrow :) 😭 But yeah, One Piece less goo!

Zio

LETS GOOOO MY SHOWS ON

R

Peak piece

R

you guys can watch the intro in 5 or so one pace eps later, although I'd probably watch the opening from the original source or youtube or one paces version is their own in terms of visuals

yahdier

W one piece

Jared Dudley

Always look forward to these!

Kret

Sharks teeth regrow at different speeds depending on the spices I don't know about the one arlong is based on but a great white grow them back in about 24 hours and go through around 140 a year as somebody who recently had to get a tooth removed and now has to deal with food getting stuck I am a little jealous

R

5:38 dont know if yall noticed, but luffy laughed the same way arlong does "SHAHAHAHA" mocking him lol

R

its Oda btw, not Toda unless I am mishearing lol

Lars Scheinert

You guys dont need to think about that to much she isnt kuina, she hust looks like her

Wasabi tobiko

Guys, episodes 28–31 aren’t added to the One Piece collection yet. For anyone looking for them, you can manually search in the posts or notification

Billbob

And now after that last episode you get to see what is essentially the equivalent of dragonball's "power levels" in one piece. Is there some stat gauging how strong a person is including any fruit powers? Nah, just how much is their head worth to the government. And just like with power levels their accuracy is quite hit or miss lol Also the interlude eps between arcs tend to be a lot of fan's, not necessarily favorite, but most anticipated episodes since sometimes its just an absolute lore dump of things going on in the world.

KingKuto

Buggy the Goat

Ethereal

The bounties match the power levels more or less. There might be an exception or two but yeah.

Mustafa Alfawadi

Just to spare you the headache she's not kuina because it's conformed that she died the only question is if she's related to kuina 🤷🏻‍♂️

Michael H

I think Shanks’s crew looked weird to you guys because in One Pace, the first episode introducing them uses a way later episode in the original series, so the art and animation are a little different.

R

24:13 one piece is so good at being comedic but then transitioning to something serious and deep. it works since the comedy fits the series and doesnt stand out

Kasturi

This music, mannnn!!! it still gets me after all these years! When villegers called nami 'dorobo neko' it literally means 'thief cat' so yes! oda does compare her as a cat. 1:07:08 "Heart Doctor"

R

38:45 To make things even more wholesome, in the OG anime, they actually did animate a scene with nami leaving the 100 mil with the letter in their house and when she turned around after thinking of bellmere, she sees bellmeres ghost behind her sitting at their table, and nami goes on to talk about the crew and going out to chase her dreams with the ghost of bellmere just subtly smiling not saying a word. then, when nami is leaving through her front entrance, she feels a push from bellmeres hand on the way out, as if to say she'll always be there for her and to chase her dreams. this happens before we transition to the crew on the ship after gen talks to luffy

6th

Peak is back

Koko

i'm kind of angry that was not there...

R

i feel you. it makes you feel closer to the characters but i suppose that is the trade off when it comes to one pace. some of the anime cannon stuff is so funny too lol

Jay

I can sacrifice the 10% of good anime original scenes, if we can save ourselves from the 90%. Vastly better pacing as well, especially later.

DemoniCross

Loguetown, the town of beginnings and endings (Prologue and Epilogue)

kingsaadswag

Should they react to One Piece live action now or wait for it?

R

agreed

Michael H

I like One Pace, but I often wish that they would allow themselves a little creative license to include anime original scenes that are overwhelmingly agreed upon to improve the story. I can think of several key moments where their dogmatic approach to sticking to the manga actively lowers the impact of the scene.

Jane Ling

Let's watch it!!

RCG

Love the live action but they still have stuff lined up that people are waiting on, Oshi no Ko and AIB for example. Also, the live action has a pretty big spoiler because of the different story structure, which only comes up way later in the anime. That would be kinda weird now that they actually watch the anime.

kingsaadswag

yeah i was in two minds because of that big spoiler

Yorutia

The live action has some great arrangements, and it’d be really fun to watch W&S react to them. But it will have to be much later because of all the spoilers.

Aleister Crowley

Skip it altogether, they're already watching the anime. LA pales in comparison, should be left for normies that will never try to read or watch the better media. Even oda can't bat a thousand, he's only human.

Gelondil

The LA is great and they absolutely should watch it, but only when there's nothing of the anime for it to spoil. Maybe right before Season 3 comes out would be a good time.

Chideraa Udegbulem

I think a reason why Luffy is seen as bad is because if he wanted to do good and take down the bad pirates he could have been a Marine but instead he chose to be a pirate. And almost every pirate we’ve seen IS bad and beat each other up to get higher rankings so why would Luffy be any different

DrDrae3000

If do since they already started the anime, they should wait after loguetown, even though the live action hasn't started that arc, the live action season one spoils some stuff in loguetown.

Jorge H Castro

this is not a spoiler as is confirmed that is not plot related tashigi is not kuina, they just look a like. it's speculated yet not confirmed that they share ancestor thats why they look a like.

Nostalgino MO

almost everyone in one piece is bad

Nostalgino MO

all the anime in one piece are sentient , which makes arlong being bad guy for treating humans the way they treat animals silly

VS

1:32:55 Well, it's been 10 years since the time you saw them :D
