Ranking of Kings is one of my favorites, although I am biased because the main character is a carbon copy of my son.

jons

as a substitute for horimiya, i suggest the angel next door spoils me rotten

C

Bocchi the Rock! I think they haven't react to any music anime, so this will be a good opportunity. Bocchi is a comedy anime about music. Is a really light and relaxed show. But also have a very deep take in bonds and social anxiety. The animation and creativity of the direction is top tier. Definately a must watch! Pretty short, 1 Season, 12 Episodes with another Season in the works. Same studio as My Dress-Up Darling (CloverWorks). All in Crunchy so is easy to watch.

BlackFlame

Kuroko no basket, Stone wars, Magi All three highly underrated, 1st is sports, 2nd is science, and 3rd is fantasy

Misaka Nettowaku

A Certain Magical Index A Certain Scientific Railgun A Certain Scientific Accelerator

C

Kara no Kyoukai: The Garden of Sinners A Supernatural mystery and thriller with a very experimental direction. A good entry point in the wider Universe of Type-Moon and Fate Series, since it was one of the first works of this fictional Universe. It also would help WeSteph understand some concepts that are never explained in deep on other animes (Origins, The Root, Counter Force, etc.) Also is a stand alone series unlike Fate. And is also a self-contained work. That is why I think they should give a try. There are 10 Movies in total. The studio is the same as Demon Slayer (Ufotable), so the quality of the animation is pretty good. Also all the movies are on Crunchy, so it's easy to watch.

Ale

Yuri on ice

Just Mav

Tensura (That Time i got Reincarnated as a Slime)

laizer

To Be Hero X / Saiki.K / To your Eternity !!

C

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni A mystery and psycological horror. In my opnion the only good horror anime out there, even if it's a flawed adaptation. It's an anime classic with a lot of good things. Also them trying to solve the mystery would be really fun to watch. The story is set in a rural town in japan. Following a group of friends. I think the storytelling is quite unique and does a good job catching the audience in this big mystery. I'm talking about the original series. That is: Higurashi no Naku Koro ni and Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai. Nothing more. So it would be 2 Season, 50 episodes in total. I think both seasons are in HiDive.

Narawin971

Mirai Nikki / Future's diary

C

Apocalypse Hotel Best anime of 2025 in my opinion. Is such a great anime with so much love put into the prouction and story. It tolds a story about a bunch of hotel service robots that live in a post-apocaliptic world where humans escaped to space due to a virus. So this robots wait for the day humans will return. A comedy slice of life drama. It's a story about humanity and purpose that I cannot even begin to describe. This is not only a recommendation for Wes&Steph's poll. The person that is reading this, please give it a try. You will not regret it. Is avalible on Crunchyroll. Only 1 season with 12 episodes.

C

Fate/stay night (2006) This one is the start of the Fate series. A multimedia saga of more than 20 years. Fate/stay night, originally a Visual Novel (like Steins;Gate) was the first entry on the series and consisted of 3 different routes: Fate, Unlimited Blade Works and Heaven's Feel. The first one is adapted into this Fate/stay night 2006. So I think is the best possible entry point to start the Fate series. It's a pretty good story battle royale style where 7 mages summon 7 heroes from the past to fight for the Holy Grial, an omnipotent wish granter. This season have 24 episodes. There's also other seasons but since it's a really long series I think they should be voted in order to continue. My recommended order is Fate/stay night (2006) -> Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works (2014) - Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel.

audrey mcnease

The summer Hikaru died! It’s a psychological horror anime and I think you guys would enjoy the abstract art, animation, and the character building and world building of the show. It has a lot of moral dilemmas that I would just love to see your reactions on ^_^

OJ

Wes & Steph – Since you loved Attack on Titan and Haikyuu, I’ve got a few anime recommendations I think you’d really enjoy: 🔥 1) Berserk (1997) If you loved the brutality, hopeless atmosphere, and morally grey characters in Attack on Titan, Berserk takes that even further. • Dark medieval war setting • Heavy psychological themes and trauma • Extremely strong character dynamics (Guts & Griffith are iconic) • That same “no one is safe” intensity It’s more mature and tragic, but it hits just as hard emotionally. 👁 2) Tokyo Ghoul If you liked the “monster within” theme and identity struggles in AOT, this is a great fit. • Humans vs monsters dynamic • Deep internal conflict • Brutal fights and emotional suffering • A protagonist who goes through major psychological change Season 1 especially has that intense, tragic vibe. 🏀 3) Kuroko’s Basketball Since you enjoyed Haikyuu, this is a must. • Super intense rivalries • Flashy, almost “superpower” basketball abilities • Constant hype moments • Big personalities and mind games It’s more dramatic and over-the-top than Haikyuu, but insanely entertaining. 😂 4) The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. If you want something lighter in between heavy series: • Fast-paced deadpan humor • Ridiculous side characters • Super bingeable • Zero emotional stress Perfect comedy break. 🌀 5) JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure If you’re ready for a long-term commitment: • Generational storytelling • Unique art style • Creative battle system (Stands) • Massive cultural impact It’s dramatic, weird, and iconic in the best way.

Tanmay

I don’t usually like sports anime’s and their whole “let’s work together and win with power of friendship and teamwork” shi. That’s why I liked blue lock with its whole “fuck everyone that’s not you” philosophy

Moroni W

Rascal does not dream of Bunny girl senpai! (May as well get a romance)

they need to rank up in degenerate anime or they'll lose it at nise. I personally never pay attention to fan service (really asexual) so I only noticed years later when I watched with someone how degenerate it can be. Still one of my top 5 animes and LNs though for the character writing.

my #1 light novel read, but the state of the anime is so sad.. even with Studio Witt doing the new season I fear it's too late.. unless they go the remake route. Shame too, I re-read all of the light novel at least 10 times, they would 100% love it imo

sharmarke ahmed

if non Anime is an option then: Arcane, if its Anime only then if LONG form is allowed (may get clunky with one piece) then: Naruto is an instant classic everyones heard of considering you guys have watched nearly all of the well known shorter anime, and if its short form Anime only: then Maid Sama which is a funny romance Anime more lighthearted my soul is ofc for the (Naruto) recommendation you guys would really enjoy it considering your parents and its a cult classic (just skip filler)

Mina K.

Fullmoon wo sagashite

Andorstar

I think it is better if they would watch it before they finish the main show

pylonsf4

I think they'd have a ton of fun with this series. I can see them analyzing shirou to kingdom come in particular. Don't think there's many other shows on this list that fit them as well

mimiyowa

yeah for example in durarara you can see Issac and Miria before the big reveal of episode 11, same world different time periods (the two stories are also by the same author)

pylonsf4

Nah, Deen stay night is neither good , nor important enough to warrant wasting their reaction time

I wouldn't say bad just over did it bc all lot of people wanted to see some couples forming bc of the manga n we got a little tease on the 100 years quest

RCG

Lol, the last part alone gets you my upvote. 🙂 Also, it’s a really good show!

Justin Hutchinson

Not an anime but uses animatics, Epic the musical. I have a curated playlist if it's something y'all want to check out. It's a musical of the Odyssey.

Jan Češka

I’d love to see your reaction to Made in Abyss. It’s a really intriguing mystery–horror adventure that explores the fear of the unknown and the burden of human curiosity.

RCG

Good show. Sadly, it only had one season.

mimiyowa

I watched stay night back in the day, would never recommend it to someone.. even to big Fate/ fans (in that case I'd just recommend playing the VN)

Sei_2002

Feels very unlikely that this will do well on the poll but I hope they just randomly decide to watch it. Lotm is just too legendary to miss out on. Especially the upcoming future seasons.

Some underrated gems like Yona of the Dawn, The Ancient Magus Bride, D.Gray-Man. & Drifters would be a nice watch for you guys

C

But I refuse. I will insist until the end of time for Deen FSN. Seeing the likes on other posts no way Fate is winning this time around, so I have time to pull the agenda. Fate/stay night 2006 is decent and is still the best entry into the series for anime onlys! Also the best OST of all Fate anime.

Seán

Would love k-on! or bocchi the rock

Skull Knight

Bakuman, it’s by the creator of death note, it’s about two high schoolers who team up to become manga authors. It’s lot more light hearted and it provides insight into how stories in Japan are made

I’m just trying to recommend some good more-niche anime that usually get overlooked, even though they probably don’t have any chance of winning. It’s pretty easy to check with the search bar (Ctrl+F), it’s just kinda annoying that there’s no “load all comments” button.

Infinite Winds

Mr. R

"Summertime Rendering" would be great

RCG

Yeah, it’s crazy how many comments these posts get nowadays. On one hand, it’s cool that everyone can recommend their show. On the other hand, it’s annoying to scroll through everything just to read the same 10 shows mentioned 20 times, burying everything else.

Joshua Gilbert

Made in Abyss Call of the night Saga of Tanya the Evil(next season is coming soon!) Overlord

ryanapplegos

Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken! One of my favorites, definitely doesn't get enough love

HopelesslyImmersed

Says the person dropping a wall of individual recommendations, pick your top 5, damn xD

MacrocephalicRooster

Made in abyss and orb is what I personally want. Beaststars I think will be great for the type of reactions/discussions you guys do

Angelboy259

Spice and Wolf Merchant meets the wise wolf. I think this would be a great watch

Oscar Medina

Breaststars is pretty good and will done soon. Jojo's Bizarre Adventure for a longer format anime

Xandra

Toradora

RCG

It’s not about recommending more or fewer than a certain amount; it’s about recommending shows that are already mentioned in the comments instead of just liking the first recommendation. At least 75% of the comments are duplicates and that is what is creating the bloat.

Subaru

Dr.stone is a MUST watch. its very diff and uniq from all the anime i seen. its so fun and you learn a lot with it. lets just say its about highschoolrs who bring back civilizion after all the people in the world turned into stone. its basically Modded minecraft. and a lot of drama too, mystery ect. trying to find the cause behind what happened, creating basic stuff like what we have from scratch and more!

Stevie Wonder

I think you‘ll love Bocchi the rock! It‘s sweet, funny and only 12 episodes

Mina K.

peach girl

sangoire

DR STONE PLEASE It’ll be sooo fun to hear you guys thoughts while you watch it😩

Infinite Winds

But also when there are hundreds upon hundreds of comments, scrolling down to even check and memorize what has and hasn't already been nominated is a big ask Edt: Oh I can comment again, it blocked me after getting through about a third of my list Edit 2: Somehow, I made it to the bottom. Gonna remove any duplicate recommendations of mine that I remember having seen on my way down

Subaru

Steph would absolutely LOVE Dr. stone! A Highschooler who got turned into stone along with the whole world. Then him and his friends try to survive the stone age by using modern science and bring back civilization as it was before

kamils

One show somehow almost got more suggestions likes than comments? Spam?

Thomas

Sorry in advance for my awful english but it's my third language: To Your Eternity: I think it's the perfect anime for you to react to, it's full of interesting themes and philosophy Madoka Magica: This is just a roller coaster of emotions Gosick: Not many people know this anime with mostly mystery themes set in the early 1900s, but it's such an hidden gem and the story is complete Hyouka: Another mystery anime but it all happens in a school, the animation is gorgeous and the characters are intrinsically complex. Makeine: Probably the only romance here, it's very recent but one of the best out there it's so direct and funny in what wants to express. Vanitas No Carte: Beautiful vampire anime, adult, with unique characters and a truly dark story Bocchi The Rock: Probably my favourite of them all, and it's just a comfort anime, one that you can just sit down and relax while watching it, also it's so funny

Infinite Winds

A lot of people doing multiple recommendations in one comment. Be aware that doing so makes your recommendations pointless. As it'll be impossible for W&S to know which shows the likes are going towards, so such comments will likely be ignored.

@Thomas let me give you an example: Person A recommends Bocchi the Rock, 20 upvotes. Person B recommends Fruits Basket, 32 upvotes. Person C recommends both Fruits Basket and Bocchi the Rock, 22 upvotes. How do you split the votes? How do you identify the amount of people who wanted Fruits Basket vs Bocchi? Are the 22 people the overlap between the two? Why is it 2 more votes than Bocchi then? This is the problem with multiple rec's in one post. It's more consistent and easier to identify if people vote one thing only. ...it's also the reason we should be checking for other people's rec's first, but that's going to be even harder to tell people to do.

Htatki

Fate Zero

Renden

As much as I would love for people to do this, it's going to be pretty difficult to get people to put that effort in lol. Even if it's just a "control F" away, the way the Patreon pushes oldest comments to the bottom means that people are going to want their pick at the top (the first thing people see) anyway.

Rostislav

Dude... what is this canvas, are you clawbot?

Yorutia

Even as simple as a patreon-only Discord channel in slow mode will do the job. The laziest people will still duplicate, but at least it’ll be easy to search so most people will be incentivised to just search and react (if they want their show to win).

Yorutia

@Infinite Winds Tips: use a PC browser, then Ctrl+F to search “Load more comments” to match the button in the post. Now just spam mouse clicks until you reach the end, then search for your show.

A question for anyone who knows enough about Patreon. What's stopping anyone from initially recommending something super popular like MiA or Bocchi and then after getting tons of likes, editing their comment to something more obscure they're a fan of. Can the owners of the Patreon see when a comment has been edited and from what to what?

Philsi

700 comments in just 3 hours and many popular anime have like 20 different people nominating them... There has got to be some better way to do this.

C

But it is important. Is the only anime that maintains the secrecy of Saber's identity and also the only one that gave her a conclusion to her character arc.

RCG

This only works if everyone does it, which we all know won't happen :D. If people start posting duplicates, the comments go up really fast and that leads to more people not bothering to check the comments, letting everything spiral out of control really quickly. The other thing is the comments not updating in real time (you have to refresh the page) doesn't really help either and can also lead to people posting duplicates by accident when the post is still pretty fresh. Patreon isn't really well designed for this, I guess. It's bound to happen.

Yorutia

Oooooo, this is a good nomination I didn't expect, or think of

Rostislav

Bonus: anime most frequently mentioned in the top 50 comments. Made in Abyss — 8 mentions Dr. Stone — 7 mentions Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai — 6 mentions. The Eminence in Shadow —5 mentions. Bocchi the Rock! — 4 mentions. The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. — 3 mentions. Monster — 3 mentions. Orb: On the Movements of the Earth — 3 mentions. Assassination Classroom — 3 mentions. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure — 3 mentions. Guys, do you realize that your spam reduces the anime's chances of winning? :)

Would you 2 be down to try reacting to something new? Dunno if you 2 are into musicals, but there's something that's quite popular these days called "Epic: The Musical" basically a concept album of around 40 songs, that people have made animatics for. If it's something that gets the votes, and you 2 are down to react to it, I can put a playlist together? Depending on how you wanna watch it, you can get it done in 1 sitting, split it in half, or split it into the 8 separate "Sagas" It's basically a Musical of Homers "The Oddessey" if you want more info feel free to message me

There are a lot of great dubs out there. The top of my list is the Baccano dub since the story takes place in America and the American/New York accents add so much to the show. Rostislav

The most liked comments are selected, not their total number. If there are 10 comments from Made in Abyss with 10 likes each, and 1 comment from Naruto with 11 likes, then Naruto is selected.

Rostislav

Bro, that's enough, it's even the best option. Anime has a better chance if it has one comment that everyone likes, rather than ten, because then the likes accumulate evenly, a little bit on each one.

Rostislav

@Renegade I wrote some JavaScript code that parsed the comments, took the top 50 by likes, then I dumped the result into LLM and got the top anime without repeats. I didn't count it manually, but I checked some of them and everything matched at that moment. The whole process took 20 minutes, 19 of which I spent opening comments because my laptop was lagging with so many...

Rostislav

@Kai Kage Three hours passed between my calculation and your comment, so of course a lot has changed. I will recalculate later.

Arian Abdolahy

Don‘t worry, Detective Conan has an Episode Guide, so it’s kinda like „One Pace“

Rostislav

@Cameron It's not easy, my page is lagging, the Patreon developers are jerks.

Yeah, and as i said earlier i already checked all the comments, and i gave a like to everyone that had an anime that i care about

Elfaria

Food Wars reactions would be so peak, it's such a funny show and the story gets really good. I love this anime as it was one of my first.

Rostislav

Interim results, but it is unlikely that anything will change significantly: 1. Rascal Doesn't Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai — 41 likes 2. Bocchi the Rock! — 41 likes 3. Dr. Stone — 39 likes 4. The Eminence in Shadow — 38 likes 5. Made in Abyss — 36 likes 6. The Disastrous Life of Saiki K — 36 likes 7. Orb: On the Movements of the Earth — 34 likes 8. Assassination Classroom — 34 likes 9. Fate Series (Fate/Zero) — 33 likes 10. The Saga of Tanya the Evil — 33 likes Next time, I will run the script in a week for the final count.

Arian Abdolahy

It’s already mentioned down there, scroll down and give it a like! 😁

Rostislav

@Kindyh Bordat Most likely a JavaScript script, because calculating it manually takes a little too long.

Rostislav

If you want to boost a particular anime from the list, scroll down until you see at least the number of likes listed. Only the comment with the most likes counts. For example, if you want to boost MiA's chances, look for a comment with at least 36 likes. There is no point in liking the other 30 comments with this anime.

Arian Abdolahy

Gambare Gambare Senpai! Gambare Gambare Senpai!

Arian Abdolahy

It has been already mentioned down there, scroll down and give it a like 😁

vivaan

saiki k and bocchi the rock would be so peak

Arian Abdolahy

It’s easy. They just need to set up rules and tell everyone: Only one anime for one comment. And don’t suggest twice. I suggested this to Drumrolltony and he implemented it and I think it worked. And then there could be a rule where doing multiple recommendations in one comment or mentioning something that’s already been mentioned not count, like only the first or most liked comment of one anime will be acknowledged, the rest will be ignored and not counted. If you want to go further you could say: If you mention an already mentioned anime it will be subtracted, so it will hurt the vote! Lol

Arian Abdolahy

How do you know that only the comment with the most likes counts and not the accumulated likes for a show? They haven’t specified that.

Almost 1000 comments in less than 24 hours, I think a better way to do this is needed lol I'll recommend 'to your eternity'

Considering you just finished / about to finish Code Geass I would love for you to react to Guilty Crown as its very similar type of show :D

Since it doesn’t seem to be recommendations from this Season, I will leave one: You and I are Polar Opposites. A romantic comedy, pretty refreshing and pretty good. The protagonists are very funny and the animation and style is really good! Is on Crunchyroll and is going to have 24 episodes divided in 2 seasons.

Sam

i’ve always wanted you guys to react to future diary’s! it’s a really interesting show that will make you think a lot. i believe it’s the exact kind of show you would be interested in!

RCG

I mean, obviously it should go by the single highest liked comment, not by accumulation. Otherwise, everyone would just start spamming even more the same names over and over and it wouldn't even be a good representation of what people want to see. Just as an example: If I have one show recommended 10 times and the same 10 people upvote all 10 comments, I'd have 100 likes for that show, even though it's just 10 people wanting to see it. Then I have another show with only 1 recommendation but 50 upvotes. You see the difference? Obviously, the second show should be picked.

RCG

I posted this a bit further below already but I guess it makes sense here too. Obviously it should go by the single highest liked comment, not by accumulation. Put the recomendations from the previous poll into MS Forms. Then you could also have a form for submitting recomendations. Then all your doing is a vlookup from the form results against your curated list adding new ones and checking the slightly different spelling variations. You can even ask people to use the myanimelist titles to try and reduce name variations or you can create a helper table for alternate names. Would be happy to build this for you, wouldn't take long at all.

@Vishwa Joshi You're right, most likely there were several anime with the same number of likes that didn't make it into my top 10. I don't know how Wes and Steph will act in this situation, because the number of options for voting is limited.

Rostislav

@Baron Aaron Are you asking if I take all comments into account? If so, the answer is yes.

Rostislav

@Renegade It's convenient, but it's not a one-click web parser. I didn't write it because Patreon definitely has some kind of protection, and I don't want to risk my account. So I wrote a console script that parses the 100 comments with the most likes, but for it to work, I have to manually load all the comments on the page, which is the hardest part. I feed all 100 top comments to LLM, it selects the top 10 anime, the model understands where there are different names for the same anime as well as duplicates, then I check the result of its work manually. I hope Wes and Steph don't do this manually, because it would be very time-consuming and inconvenient. Steph seems to be a programmer by education, so maybe she has a script too :)

Andy Campbell

They go by the most liked comment (singular) is my understanding. so all the duplicated comments do not count.

@Baron Aaron I'll make a top 15 list, but if they don't make it because of a lack of likes, there's nothing I can do about it. I'm just a bored subscriber, and I don't make any decisions. Wes and Steph sometimes choose anime based on their own preferences, so there's always a chance.

Kindyh Bordat

@LuciousDaLuster Brother that's why i used "should" and not "have to". Do you not understand english ? Also i'm new to the series, i'm only at book 2 and i ain't one of those hardcore fanboys, i just gave my opinion. I'm also reading the manhua in parallel and it's also better than the anime, just slow to release.

Arian Abdolahy

It's no problem on the pc and it doesn't take long to get to the first comments.

Arian Abdolahy

Well, I mean you don't need to grab their attention because grabbing their attention is not relevant for their choice. What matters is what wins the poll and what wins the poll is what has the most likes. Simple as that. When I watched Dr. Stone for the first time I didn't knew anything and it does make a difference because then you don't know what's happening and get surprised. BUT I have to say sorry, cause yeah, that humanity got turned into stone is literally the first line in the anime. BUT that a highschool scientist tries to bring them back with his friends and tries to uncover the mystery is not revealed in the beginning - it's also not clear in the beginning who the main protagonist is if you go in blind and your text reveals that too. I just want them to have a pure experience where they can get surprised and I want us to have a genuine reaction.

Subaru

Aha i see, i understand now. Thank you for explaining!:) imma edit those out then! I forgot about the poll thing and getting most likes lol, my bad

Yorutia

Yes! They should just put that directly on their watch list. It is widely considered as one of the best three modern fantasy manga along with Frieren and Dungeon Meshi. They shouldn't miss it when it's released.

They probably just export the comments into excel, then sort by number of likes and delete duplicates, simple... but ppl need to understand that they need only comment if there is an anime they havent seen listed

TK

hear me out, the worst idea ive ever come up with, but maybe there could be another tier like $100 [only like 3 people at a time] where you can make a recommendation and it makes it on the poll.... so its not definite but theres a big chance

Rostislav

@Kai Kage I may be mistaken, but Patreon does not provide the functionality to export comments. Therefore, you still need to either write/search for a script or do it manually.

Rostislav

The idea itself isn't bad, but I see a problem: 1. If it's even slightly popular, it will most likely make it into the top 25 anime for voting anyway. 2. If it's so niche that it doesn't even make it into the top 25, no one will vote for it.

Rostislav

They always follow trends, and I am 100% sure that they will pick it up as soon as it comes out.

Sappy

I feel like this voting system on Patreon comments is a mess. There's no way to sort comments, leading to many duplicates and votes getting spread out. The use of name variations of the same anime might cause confusion. Can you even see who the voter is? Let's say Angel Beats was nominated by 2 people and they both have 2 likes each, does that get added up to 4? What if it's the same 2 people who voted on both? If they do not get added together, having duplicate nominations is even worse then. I can't imagine having to scroll through all of these trying to count it all.

These are the recommendations for the next poll, it is just that people didn't read what this post says, therefore they just wrote without looking to what was recommended.

It’s so sad that people don’t read the description. A lot of anime titles were repeated in the comments, and they didn’t even bother checking the post with the most likes (which is usually the first one). Like Assassination Classroom or Your Lie in April 😔. And obviously one of the problems too are the 1000+ comments 🫠

Rostislav

Bonus #1. Counting mentions. 1. Made in Abyss — mentioned 23 times. 2. Dr. Stone — mentioned 21 times. 3. Fate Series (Fate/Zero, UBW, etc.) — mentioned 21 times. 4. Orb: On the Movements of the Earth — mentioned 18 times. 5. Monster — mentioned 16 times. 6. Arcane — mentioned 14 times. 7. Blue Lock — mentioned 13 times. 8. Your Lie in April — mentioned 12 times. 9. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Tensura) — mentioned 12 times. 10. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure — mentioned 11 times. This top shows how scattered the likes were in some anime. Many people did not scroll to the bottom but stopped as soon as they saw the anime they wanted, liked it, and left. I won't even mention those who spammed the same anime over and over again. Thus, it was difficult for some anime to gain a critical mass of likes on a single comment. But it also possibly shows the passion of the fans of these anime 🤔 (This was especially critical for anime such as Arcane and Blue Lock, which were unable to even make it into the top 25 in terms of likes on a single comment.)

Rostislav

Lol, I'm studying the data and found something interesting. A user with the nickname @PROTOTYPE posted the same animes once a day, getting a large number of likes. These are Blue Lock, Classroom Of The Elite, and Your Lie in April (which barely made it through), etc. Maybe I'm overthinking it, but it looks like sabotage of these anime so that they don't gain a critical mass of likes. It's clever of him, I have to admit 😂

Infinite Winds

The 34 on Your Lie in April is from a comment with multiple anime in one. The actual highest for it is 22

SLF needs more love

I must say that will be an interesting poll, intreams of anime genre we have a lot of verity in those suggestions

SLF needs more love

I have a question what did you do when there was a tie? I know that MHA Vigilantes had 34 likes, the same amount as the lower 3 in the 25. Also thank you for what you did

SLF needs more love

There isn't one that is 47 likes I checked the highest is 35 likes

CD Elio

I must say the rascal gang are pretty supportive on their anime gaining the most popular likes respect

Rostislav

@Infinite Winds That's true, but technically, the comment with this anime got the required number of likes. I don't know how Wes and Steph will count it. In any case, this is not critical because there is very little chance that any anime in 25th place in terms of likes will win the vote.

Rostislav

@SLF needs more love I don't think there's a problem, Wes and Steph will watch the MHA spin-off after the main series anyway. There were no other close results besides this one. Thank you, it's my professional deformation, I often have to dig through data :D

Rostislav

@CD Elio, Yes, rascal fans are quite determined; the target comment is practically at the bottom of the list, but they found it. In general, I am a little surprised at how much the results have changed in a few days. I wonder if my interim results and recommendations had an impact on this 🤔 I also wanted to write statistics on the most “smart” and “stupid” fandoms in terms of how effectively and wisely their anime was promoted. But I changed my mind, as the data on the number of likes and mentions already shows everything.

Irongrove

@Counter Force I will be good with all the top 4 winning this poll, also I would be really happy if they did all those 25 and there won't be a next poll until they finish all the 25 options.

@SLF needs more love Updated. I didn't run the script because scrolling down is a pain in the ass, so I hope your data is correct. Thanks for your help. I'm surprised that a week later there are still people who haven't seen the post and continue to change the top list

@Rostislav I checked the nominations until the end and those were the changes. I agree with you that people don't read is a problem.

Rostislav

@SLF needs more love I meant that the number of likes is still changing, people read the post, look for the right comment somewhere at the bottom, and vote. I thought everything would be decided in the first three days

Rostislav

@PROTOTYPE You write the same list of anime every day for a week. By doing so, you have reduced their chances of getting into the voting pool. Last time, Your Lie in April and Classroom Of The Elite were up for voting. This time, they didn't get enough likes (unless Wes and Steph add them at their discretion) because of your actions. No offence, just wondering, are you doing this on purpose, or did you not understand how it works?

SLF needs more love

@Rostislav I thought you meant the description of the post not what you wrote. Also 49 likes for Bocchi The Rock And Undead Unluck with 38 likes

Rostislav

@SLF needs more love Yes, I was referring to the post written by Wes and Steph. I use a translator because my English writing skills are very poor, and it seems that this created a misunderstanding at some point, although I'm not sure when :D I wasn't complaining that people continue to write recommendations, I was just surprised that a week later, the comments at the bottom are still getting likes, that someone hasn't seen the nomination post yet and has the opportunity to like the comments, thereby changing the ranking.

SLF needs more love

I said before 49 likes for Bocchi the Rock 38 likes for Undead Unluck

Rostislav

@SLF needs more love Didn't see it. Updated

watch out for witch hat atelier its coming out in the next anime season

Jaime Rivas

I feel like both of you really enjoyed 86 and Code Geass, so if you are looking for another amazing mecha show that follows a lot of the same themes and vibes of those shows I highly recommend Gundam 00. Especially the first season I think you'll enjoy for its topical issues.
