Mr. Bibinho

I had lost hope, thank you so much 😭

Brnden

Thank you!

Chris

First time commenter, but where in Norway were you ancestors from Steph? I'm Norwegian and my ancestors were sailors and fishers, a lot of my close family still is. They might have sailed on your ancestors ships! My lineage is from a small Island outside Møre og Romsdal, close to Molde.

Wes And Steph

They were from stavanger! So not too close but maybe! 😂😂 we still have distant cousins over there I was able to meet as an infant

Waffles 💥💥

Most of the fans call him chopper. So I would just go with that

Chris

That's so random, my mother is from Stavanger, so I've lived here since I was 8 years old 🙈 But you're right about the closeness, I would have to ask my dad about their history and ships, he knows a lot about our ancestors. As Norway is a small country, there might still be a possibility, but probably not that big. How long ago are we talking 😊

A Guy

I think it was stated that if a human ate the human human fruit they would achieve enlightenment

AL

Way-pol is a crazy villain fr

The Anime Dude

That climb was nerve wracking, but Luffy carrying Nami/Sanji up the tower in a blizzard after Nami said she was counting on him is still one of my favorite One Piece moments. 😭

RCG

Wapol is probably one of the dumbest villains ever but otherwise this is a great arc. Don't forget your tissues for Chopper's backstory.

Billbob

Yeah, Luffys climb was just crazy painful to watch and cemented him as one of the biggest bamfs alongside the likes of Gintoki imo. And iirc his climb in the manga was just occasional cut backs and it seems the One Pace editors decided yeah no the animators were right to drag this out quite a bit. Glad they did so despite it hurting

Gelondil

Let's be fair, Kureha demanding 49% of the shopkeeper's assets to save his son is a discount compared to what Nami would charge for the same service.

mogeki

Oda references real life pirates all of the time when it comes to the naming of characters. Even Zoro is a reference. His last name is Roronoa, which is a corruption of l'Olonnais, the pseudonym of a French buccaneer active during the 1660s.

Nao

The fandom mostly calls him Chopper, and for today's Chopper fun fact: Chopper's voice actress is the same person who voices Pikachu throughout the Pokemon franchise, and for me, it's the cutest voice in all the anime I've seen. The same voice actress also voices kid Sanji

Ougi

Apparently if a human eats the human human fruit that chopper ate they'd become enlightened. Not sure what that exact entails. It was stated by Oda in an SBS, which is like a thing where he answers fan questions and drops side information that isn't too relevant (most of the time)

hussam abdelalim

Hey, at least the restaurant owner did not spend the rest of his life in debt

Marko Genter

Luffy climbing the mountain is a Top 5 Luffy moments in all of One Piece.

Hayate

When the new arc's melody started playing at the beginning of episode 48 on the boat, I was already starting to cry. You can call him Chopper. Also did you notice the foreshadowing of the first few episodes in East Blue, someone told Luffy that his devil fruit won't be special in Grand Line. So far we've been introduced new fruits on every island.

Renden

Don't worry Steph, I also had to close my eyes at the part where Luffy slid down the mountainside. Something about finger injuries like that really mess me up.

Adrian

That birds won't accept their babies anymore when humans have touched them because of the smell is actually a myth.

Jay

I think he meant that you become really smart if you eat one. Now i wonder what the forms would look like.

Kret

It's toes for me I have lost most of a toenail before ever since toe injurys freek me out

Adrian

It is, they don't identify their offspring by smell. Also if it were actually true cuckoos wouldn't be a thing.

Kret

It is false most birds have a poor sense of smell the problem with touching a birds nest is if the mother sees you touching it it might abandon the nest because it sees it as no longer safe

Matthew Molnar

Tony Tony Chopper ❤️❤️❤️

Jonesy

you finally met the goat tony tony chopper

Quitzx1

It literally is, its been disproven a long time ago, birds usually have a really bad sense of smell.

VS

Btw "40 degrees" here definitely means 40 in celsius, which correlates to 104 fahrenheit.

V

Baby🥺

V

I love watching them overthink 😂
