I absolutely loved the little scene of Fern drying off Frieren while she was explaining the dangers of trying to travel around the lake. It was both adorable and wholesome...probably more that it should have been. At least to me. And that montage of Himmel's perspective of fondlyobserving his friends on their adventure while we saw how wistful and soft Frieren's expression was...man, that really tugged on my heart strings. I love this show so much!

Oh man, the way Frieren was always in the center of Himmel's memories and the way Frieren kept flipping the empty pages as if wanting more 😭 it's just heartbreaking. Also, I just noticed this now since this is my third time watching this episode. The outro is an extended version of Himmel's POV (well, just until before the chorus dropped, I think) and now I'm ugly sobbing in the middle of my doctor's appointment 😭

On March 28 there will be a Frieren panel for Anime Japan 2026 let's hope for a season 3 soon :D
