Marko Genter

Never seen someone butcher Gigantomachia's name so hard thats an accomplishment

Tigerclaw

Haven't watched yet but I'm looking forward to it 😭

CallMeSignal

No spoilers here, this is something you could've connected yourself. But, remember Kirishima's flashback with Ashido? In that flashback, there was that MASSIVE dude who was threatening a couple girls, right? Well, in that flashback, he said "Everything is for my master." And when we meet the "wild man" in the mountains, what did he say? The same exact line. That's a reoccurring character, baby! He's been here since Kirishima was a middle schooler! Also, just... fun fact, little bonus. Kirishima and Kaminari's voice actors have a web show together, and there are some clips here and there, and... yeah they're exactly what I expected from the voices behind Kirishima and Kaminari lol. Some peak "the boys just doing things" activity.

Narawin971

Love LOOOVE this ending so much ! R.I.P Sayuri.

Hayate

We are getting too used to people not dying in One Piece haha

Andrea

Eris power lokie reminds me of rupunzel it’s very beautiful if used correctly

mimiyowa

oh I didn't know.. now I'm sad :c

Super Gamer Q

fr One Piece characters, even side or background characters have insane durability even when they shouldn't lol

RCG

Kinda sad for Nighteye but honestly his quirk was crazy strong, so I'm curious if the author always planned on killing him off at the end of the arc or made that decision later on to avoid having to write around his foresight all the time. Eri's quirk is probably even stronger but it's basically not usable (at least for now?!). The League taking Overhaul's arms and therefore his quirk was probably the best punishment for a guy trying to erase other people's quirks. I'm with Wes on this one, Shigaraki let Mr. Compress take one of his arms as revenge and decayed the other one so he couldn't restore himself. I also don't think that Mr. Compress could reattach his arm even if he wanted to but I'm not that familiar with his quirk.

starrk

Lmao @35:57 i expected Wes to butcher Gigantomachia's name but i did not expect Steph to also do it right after haha.

Solar Wind

Just to add fuel to the misery fire for Overhaul, they took his arms ( quirk ) away so now he can't fix the boss anymore, the one person he cares about that he temporarily broke for this plan, more of the reason he was screaming at the end

The Anime Dude

As messed up as overhaul was in the way he went about things, I think he genuinely did respect & care for the man who took him in. So, he put him in a coma with the intent of waking him up / undoing that when he’d accomplished what he wanted to for them. But, Shigaraki just made it to where he can never use his quirk again, which means he can never wake up his adoptive father from the coma he put him in… just a bit of extra darkness about that Overhaul scene to point out.

AJisreal

I feel like one piece characters don't die so often lol

Shay

*low key

Super Gamer Q

This is important information for future reactions. MHA from now on will be like One Piece/Pace and give a short 1- 2-minute recap every episode. This is to remind viewers of the last episode, since most people watch it weekly. Since we are bingeing the show, please skip the first 1-2 minutes of the start till the opening in every episode, there is no new scenes or animation

britt m

Omg yay!!! Its my favorite mha ENDING! Guys you can watch it, there's no spoilers! Just some characters we've seen before (the teachers in their youth!) its fun to see reactors try to pick them out of the crowd!

RCG

I'm not really sure how much of that is true but I can remember at least one important scene happening before the opening that should absolutely not be skipped. (Still quite a while away from that, to be fair.)

Super Gamer Q

They are very observant, it won't matter if there is a new scene, they will definitely catch it. Having them watch the same recap when there is already a lot of flashbacks in MHA episodes is just too redundant for them imo

RCG

The scene I'm talking about, for example, starts out as a recap but then keeps going with new animation before the intro plays. So in that case, they would definitely miss it because it starts out as a recap and they would skip forward (I've seen people doing that already). Personally, I only remember this one particular scene but yeah, I guess they would have to rely on the comments to avoid missing stuff like that.

Holy Arathi

I imagine Wes and Steph could mispronounce Alex let alone any other name. Especially Japanese names. It’s so funny.

Holy Arathi

The raid started at 8:30am and end 9:15am. It took them 4 episodes to cover 45 mins of time. That’s nuts!!!

Filipe Oliveira Ladislau

There’s a long-running joke in the My Hero Academia fandom about the "Bad Touch Club" (sometimes called the "Touch of Death Club" or similar variations). The idea is that certain characters possess quirks capable of subjugating, incapacitating, or outright killing someone through a single touch. The list Shigaraki, Overhaul, Mr. Compress and surprisingly and Uraraka belongs there as well .While Zero Gravity is usually portrayed as a rescue and mobility quirk, using it offensively against someone who cannot fly, control their trajectory, could be devastating. In a purely practical sense, a sufficiently ruthless Uraraka could potentially be more lethal than classmates such as Ashido or Kaminari.

Mufty

Seconds after the right pronunciation. So funny

Alvaro Vesga

I really like Uraraka as a character, here in this chapter we start to see how she is "too good" of a person that always carries regret regarding the things she could do better as a hero and thats something that will be displayed on the show a Lot and in several ocassions. She is just the kindest <3

Renden

I think one of the reasons I like MHA so much is because it's well thought-out. The world makes sense. Progress slowed down to a standstill because people as a society had to figure out quirks and their effect on society. Events that happen impact people in realistic ways. People really do make mistakes, and sometimes people react irrationally to stressful situations. Lastly, while they may have unrealistic traits or habits, all the characters in MHA have realistic goals, motivations, and struggles. Even the minor characters aren't written as throwaway gags. You can really tell the author thought a lot about this world. It makes all the difference.

Renden

...consequentially, it's why I do NOT like MHA Vigilantes, but that's a discussion for a different time and place.

MikiMiki

"Mineta actually bing nice and wholesome" always has been, that's why he's the goat

Super Gamer Q

Why don't you like MHA Vigilantes? We get to explore more of the world outside of Deku's journey or UA, it's very interesting, that was something to praise MHA for

Renden

Because the author of Vigilantes takes and uses characters from MHA and strips them of their nuance and intelligence. Example: All Might is a wise, earnest mentor figure who can wax poetic on occasion. He's a little goofy, but he's earnest. In Vigilantes, All Might only shows up as a goofy weirdo that tries really hard but doesn't quite get it. He's been stripped of half (or more) of his character traits that make him All Might. That's just one of many examples. Imo it wouldn't be a bad show if the MHA name wasn't attached to it.

Philsi

Those are rookie numbers compared to the raid in HxH Ant arc, lol.

Collin Gifford

Did Steph just come up with like, quirk puberty blockers?

starrk

Let them check first and decide for themselves if they wanna skip it. Telling them to right out skip the first 2 mins without checking first is not good. People wanna see their reaction if there is a new scene, doesn't matter if they will figure it out anyway.

Holy Arathi

lol! I don’t even know the final numbers on that. I think they went 15 episodes for like an hour, if not the whole back half of the season. That season messed me up.

IzVito

Isn't Eri also part of that club? or at least when she grows up
