Not only this Kirei passed his preference for Chinese martial arts to Rin, but also preference for Chinese food. Also, some soul healing magecraft, but apart from some techniques like the magic circuits transfer he is still vastly superior to Rin.

2026-11-07 19:00 Two early ones are that Shirou didn't use his command seal to prevent Saber from attack Archer which caused him to miss out on that first fight against Berserker. Additionally He doesn't walk Sakura home in UBW so he doesn't meet Zouken Matou early. Him mentioning Illya changes how he views her slightly.

2026-11-07 23:00 OH SHIT IT'S HAPPENNInG 1:58:30 ; you gotta realize from Sakura's perspective ever since Saber came into Shirou's life he's suddenly getting knocked unconscious, hurt, etc. Makes sense to me why she would be like "you're a bad influence"

UBW had it right most of the time but transliterated it'd be "ally of justice" - but since that sounds weird they made it 'hero of justice' which in turn became just 'hero' and 'superhero'. It doesn't help that in HF they often literally say 'hero' instead. Basically; don't read into that too hard, it's a language thing. We had to wait years btw :p enjoy your 2 weeks of suffering

Yes well, even though theres some disputes about the Fate "Watch Order", I think every single person agrees Heaven's Feel is last of the main ones lmao

2026-11-07 21:00 Lmao these movies all together are excellent(love the ending) but they always trigger a deep traume in me, and It is the SHAME I suffered when I took My mom with me to see the second movie in a theater, she Just wanted to bond over anime with me 😭😭😭 like, I was 20y/o and I knew the story was based in a h-game but in the other seasons I didnt see many sus scenes so I didnt think the second movie would go that wild and expose me, so be prepared for the next movie Wes and Steph 🤣🤣🤣 I repeat, these movies are excellent, hope You enjoy them too 👍🏻

Hey chat should we get them to watch the Fate/Grand Order Movies too? The Fate/Grand Order - Memorial Movie I feel should be watched at the very least.

Nikolai Ilushko

I wish you could watch the fate route too 🥲 The route that comes before UBW. But unfortunately the adaptation we have is not faithful at all to the source material.

CD Elio

Wes wanting gun magic in Fate I wonder what country would specialize that. Ehem a particular holy grail war in.... Anyway my favorite class Assassin getting the upper one here. Wes and Steph observed and understand so many of the subtle things that happened here. Like Shirou having all the 3 magic crest, Kirei telling Shirou about Kiritsugu, the old Matou guy is active, etc. Interesting observation when it comes to the Matous and the hand seals. Hopefully they guess who Rider is who knows can't wait for them to know who she is.

Cinshadis

So happy to see this reaction! FYI there IS a slice-of-life show where Emiya cooks for the others, it's very wholesome. The Nasuverse is varied, indeed.

Cinshadis

Regarding the blood and body-eating things, it's not very well presented, but those are ways a servant can restore mana. It's not always a Dead Apostle (vampire) thing.

mimiyowa

Heaven's Feel is probably my favorite route for a lot of reasons and the animation, music, etc are like 10/10 so that's extra points. I'm holding off on all my explanation comments for the next episode heheheee

Hassan Jameel

watching each movie in one sitting is always better imo for action movies. also easier to follow along with the story and not misremember details from each movie. happy to see that u guys are so invested in the story.

mimiyowa

The others might be a bit too much but the memorial movie is like 3 minutes long and is pretty and I bet Steph would love the music; they really should !

Omer Durrani

WE DID THE WHOLE MOVIE IT IS A BEAUTIFUL DAY THANK YOU SO MUCH MY REACTION CHANNEL <3 MUCH LOVE

Nikolai Ilushko

Shirou's high jump is such a meme 🤣😂

mimiyowa

also I'm giga biased but Fate/strange Fake is a solid "normie" watch for people outside and with everyone giving details/explaining it'd elevate the experience and solve the confusion issues

BurningNihilism

Spoiler warning: the following explains what a vampire is in the TYPE-MOON setting. It doesn’t name any characters or reveal any plot points, but if you’d rather discover even the concepts on your own, skip it. You probably already have a picture of what a vampire is: a pale figure who drinks blood, fears sunlight, and is destroyed by a stake or a cross. TYPE-MOON starts from that picture, but it breaks it apart and rebuilds it in a way that changes how the word works. In this setting, a vampire is any creature that feeds on the blood of other living things. “Bloodsucker” is the broader term, and for most purposes the two mean the same thing. Anything in that category can be called vampiric. What matters is why they drink. Many of these creatures have a Vampiric Impulse, a pull toward drinking blood, but where that pull comes from splits them into two main kinds. The first kind are the True Ancestors. The planet created them as a defense against humanity, to govern the human population as it grew. Unlike the vampires you may know, their thirst is purely psychological. Their bodies don’t physically need blood, so the urge is a flaw they carry rather than a biological necessity. They have an enormous amount of power, and most of it goes toward holding that urge in check. Over time the urge builds up until they can no longer control it, and they fall into an endless sleep. Only a few of them are left. The second kind are the Dead Apostles, which are closer to the vampires of popular fiction. Most of them descend from True Ancestors, since a True Ancestor’s bite or blood can turn a human into one. Some mages became Dead Apostles through magic instead. Their thirst is physical: they need blood to keep their bodies running. They are generally weaker than True Ancestors, and they were the ones who rebelled and became independent from their creators. Servants, normally draw their magical energy from their Master. When that supply fails, they have to find it elsewhere. Their main method is consuming souls and minds, but some can also take in blood, depending on how they process it. Drinking blood doesn’t automatically make a Servant a bloodsucker. A Servant counts as one when its original identity is a bloodsucker, and blood is the most efficient source of energy for that identity. To sum it up: in TYPE-MOON, a vampire is any creature that consumes blood and gets its magical energy from it, and “bloodsucker” means the same thing. The original vampires are the True Ancestors, who were created by the planet. Their thirst is psychological, and they are the ones with the most power. Dead Apostles are the counterpart to the vampires you already know from fiction. Other bloodsuckers can also be called vampires, but they aren’t really what you’d normally picture. Servants can gain energy through blood or other bodily fluids, but they only count as vampires or bloodsuckers if their original identity was one.

mimiyowa

I don't think it's spoilers, I also don't see them playing Tsukihime or watching other things tbh. Lots of fun stuff stuff going on there to mention. Regarding Dead Apostles we've already encountered them in Fate/Zero technically (Kiritsugu's backstory)

Marcos cruz

I know the feeling of rooting for Sakura now after rooting for Rin in UBW, now imagine rooting for Rin AND Sakura when the first route is FATE which Artoria is the heroine/love interest... My favorite route is the FATE route, though I think most people would agree that the best written route is Heavens Feel even if it's not everyone's favorite, the one issue with this trilogy is that Heavens Feel is by far the longest route in the novel so they had to condense a lot of it to fit into 3 movies. Loving the theories, but not gonna comment on them don't want to spoil or sway your opinion, the only thing is that "vampires" in this universe are weird, I think the better term would be characters have vampiric characteristics/abilities and they all get thrown into a the vampire category

Super Gamer Q

What do you mean? Messing up the high jumps and giving up is very attractive to watch lol 🤣😂

Random

For a bit I thought you dropped this series. Glad it's back.

CD Elio

and the way Wes likes to want to see guns feels like they need to watch FSF

mimiyowa

the likes/comments in the last 3 hours already mogs every other upload so far hehe can't wait for spring song

ReCursed

eyes in the vision were pink grey. not yellow like sabers other version. its sad you didnt listen to ending song - its beatifull. Waiting with baiting breath for the next

ReCursed

i would save fsf for last

ReCursed

well its last in line in games too

ReCursed

My favourite from games is Fate route - first one. if in anime probably UBW. But they all mega good

mimiyowa

Ending song for the second movie is my favorite.. like.. one of my favorite songs and it's a shame it's "just an ending song" because a lot of reactors skip it :c

ReCursed

movie in one sitting is much better then cutting it

mimiyowa

Actually ending song for Spring Snow is also a 10/10 listening again. The whole soundtrack is sooo good. Yuki Kajiura really captures these kinds of stories well (Zero, Madoka Magica, Garden of Sinners, etc.) It's just sooo sooo good.

mimiyowa

I once again remember how good the sound design is in these movies. Not just the music but the sounds are so good I feel like I'm in the middle of the fight getting hit haha

mimiyowa

FsF is basically Fate but america and you have some conspiracy stuff going on, big cast, returning names, really cool!

mimiyowa

@ReCursed I would love to watch more TYPE-MOON stuff here but I feel like it'd be hard to string them along for it; Most reactors only watched the Zero, F/SN (ubw + hf) and then a decent chunk got back to FsF because it was a "big production" anticipated one that can be enjoyed standalone

Devastating_Warrior

Here we go, I'm sooooo excited for this! My favorite route in terms of story is definitely Heaven's Feel. It's hard to pick between UBW and HF, but this one does appeal to me more overall.

J L

Oh no! 😭

Tom

LETS GO

BananaPengu1n

I didn't watch it yet but I kinda hope they react to most Fate stuff. Would first time the cooking show with them. I still need to finish Apocrypha and especially with their guesses in Zero I feel like they'd like that too. Strange Fake is another one I didn't get to yet but it's still missing its second season afaik? So if it's like Zero or UBW 2nd season it would make sense to wait watching it (recency hype is why it's mentioned this often I guess)? Garden of Sinners would be another one to squeeze in.

eXxCeZz

There's 3 movies and Heaven's feel is definitely my favorite, and I would prolly say the second movie is my favorite maybe third? Both are awesome

2026-11-08 02:00 A few points, I think that some are important: - The start of the school year is indeed in spring in Japan. - Rider is even more nerfed than Saber, because at least Shirou has some magic to supply Saber with. Shinji on the other hand doesn't have any magic, not a single drop. In the VN, when Rider saves Shirou from assassin, Shirou notices that she seems way stronger than before. That's why she could beat assassin so easily. - You figured out a lot of things but keep in mind that you SHOULDN'T know about Sakura's childhood, her relation with Rin, and about Illya's origin. Try to think about the story from that perspective, discovering those characters in Heaven's Feel is supposed to be part of the experience. - Regarding one of your remark: yes you obviously had too watch UBW before HF (even in the visual novel you have no choice), nobody ever argued otherwise. HF is always after UBW. The dispute with the anime order was Zero and only that, since it spoils Heaven's Feel twists. - The music was done by Yuki Kajiura, same composer as in Zero, and different from UBW's ost. I personally didn't find the music in UBW wasn't as good as in the other entries (except for one track taken from the visual novel). I prefer HF's music. - 1:57:52 Notice what Archer's says, it's the moment he decides to give up on his own aim, considering the shadow killing people. - Since you're so focused on the eyes in that dream, and since it won't be explained in the movies, just know that you got the color wrong (because of the lighting) and that yes, there is a meaning to that dream. The eyes were supposed to be more like purple. But it won't be mentioned again in the movie so if you don't ever get it it's not a big deal.

2026-11-08 11:00 I've been checking every day for this upload! I'm so excited for your commentary and comparison. You're observation at ~54 minutes about his command spell not being used is why Archer was injured and not part of the berserker fight. Artoria roughed him up good. There are also so many overlapping moments, like @24:27 when Sakura is picking up papers. That is the same scene from UBW where Rin was talking to Archer about the school barrier, just from a different perspective. Heaven's Feel does so much subtle visual story telling. Subtle facial expressions, Sakura touching her ribbon repeatedly, etc.

Regarding Assassin coming from Kojiro - under normal circumstances, assassin is always supposed to be a "Hasan" related to the Arabic word that means assassin. Zoken used his own magic to summon true assassin for this war, since Kojiro was always a wraith/fake assassin. By the end of the Heaven's Feel trilogy, I will say that Heaven's Feel is my favorite route for this Grail war.

I am pritty sure that school starts in april in japan but I might be wrong

brde

Please listen the movie ending song with lyrics, all three ending song's singer is Aimer. she is great singer, and most important is these songs all made for sakura. they can help you understand her psychological world. Two week a movie is good for me. As many people my favorite route is Heaven's Feel too. a lot your question can answer by next movie.

brde

Ps: glad your guys choose watch movie all at once .

Fabien

mimiyowa -> Imho Yuki Kajiura's work on Heaven's Feel is one of her best works. Ironically, her best OST's were usually with pretty average animes: Mai Hime etc... Well Noir was a good anime though. While I worship Madoka and Zero, musically it didn't feel she was as phenomenal for those considering her immense talent. But for me, HF is truly one of her best works.

Fabien

Heaven's Feel isn't that much longer in the vn, it's around 25-30h like the others (maybe the first two are more around 25h and HF around 30h). But 3 movies 2H each is just shorter than a 25 episodes anime. That's why it's so condensed in the anime version. Still very well made, let's just say sometimes they made distant events happen in the same day. It's not very visible, except regarding Illya's relationship with Shirou.

Caleb Martin

Well, HF doesn’t make much sense if you don’t know who Zouken is, so you have to watch Zero, and since the skip through the Saber summoning stuff at the beginning, you can’t really watch it until you’ve seen UBW too.

mimiyowa

Good points !! Although I think UBW had some decent tracks (ocean of memories and the title theme come to mind); a lot are not *that* memorable though I agree. For the eyes I want to explain it but I feel like I have to hold off until the second movie :c I also don't think we've been exposed to mystic eyes that much yet if at all (unless I forgot something)

Fabien

Actually, that slice of life aspect is very present in the original visual novel. It was part of the experience. That's why when you finally start the 3rd and last route, Heaven's Feel, you're kinda attached to Sakura but at the same time as a character you see her as a bit bland, a very ordinary girl. Except maybe for a few weird things that happened in the other routes (that connection with Illya mentioned by the end of the first route, that conversation with Gilgamesh at the very beginning of the story, and some scenes in which Rin seems to be syping on Sakura for some reason...). But you don't know much about her, like she's a secondary character the way Fuji-nee or others are. That's why Heaven's Feel was very shocking to me, in the vn everything is made so that you kinda underestimate Sakura, until that point. You mostly think of her as slice of life character.

Fabien

Caleb Martin ->What kind of reasoning is this lmao ? Zouken's identity is literally presented in the first scene. As opposed to that, Zero spoils everything about Sakura and Illya: the 2 biggest plot twists of Heaven's Feel, so obviously Zero was written to be discovered after HF. What are we even talking about. Fate -> UBW -> HF -> Zero is the original order, there isn't even a debate it was just made that way, the problem is that the first part, Fate, doesn't really exists in anime (properly). That's the only reason there's disputes. Fate not being here especially poses problems for UBW, which is not made to be seen first. Fate prepares for UBW, both Fate and UBW prepares for HF. And then Zero gives additionnal content about the past.

Fabien

I feel like subs always struggle with the translation of "oni-chan", no matter the anime. Honestly, at this point they could just let oni-chan, it's nice you noticed though. "Mister" as a translation feels weird, but sometimes if they translate with "big brother" westerners assume it has to mean a real big brother, while in eastern countries it's common for a kid to call an older (but usually young) guy that way. There's often that ambiguity between real big brothers/sisters, and the simple affectionnate phrase. Of course here in Fate stay night it's all about that ambiguity, on purpose. Since the "reader" isn't supposed to know she's really like a sister to Shirou. Until that route. I say "reader" since for an anime viewer, it's often very different. With the order and everything.

Cinshadis

Strange Fake is SO GOOD! But it's one of those that benefits greatly if you've watched other Fate content, especially El Melloi Case Files.

Eika Mikiku

Hope you rewatch some of the epic bits in this trilogy, its great

mimiyowa

This trilogy (and FsF) made me enjoy anime fight scenes again, some of the later ones are esp. cool!! (if you know you know)

OG_Oskar Gal

THE EXCITEMENT FOR THIS UPLOAD IS EQUIVALENT TO THE HYPE OF GTA 6 FOR ME. WE ARE IN FOR A TREAT

Raydough

HF is such masterfully directed series. I can never get enough of it

In the Nasuverse, vampires are called dead apostles. They were connected to insects also in Zero. The dead apostle they killed on the airplane, Odd Vorzak, was also an entomancer.

Yeah Shirou bagged Rin and Sakura with the same high jump. But what each took away from that experience is very different. Rin was raised as an archetypal mage by her father, and Kirei continued training her after Tokiomi’s death. Generally mages are almost inhumanly coldhearted, willing to cross moral and ethical lines as long as it’s done in service of their personal goals. To only focus on what can be achieved from a cold, logical perspective. Growing up, Rin wasn’t comfortable with that way of living. So when she sees Shirou doing the high jump he has no chance of making, she sees someone pursuing something impossible out of determination and passion. This inspires Rin, and she embraces that mindset. It shapes her into who she is today as someone who balances the logical pragmatic mage mindset with her more emotional humanity and good nature. We know what happened to Sakura. How she suffered nurtured a dark, malevolent mindset in her. When she sees Shirou doing the high jump, she him trying something that he has no chance of doing. Shirou has no chance of making the jump, and he’s practicing alone, so he has no expectation of praise for his efforts. This parallels Sakura’s life to that point, and he inspires her to continue to endure, to try to persevere. Even if her efforts will go unnoticed and unrewarded. Even if it’s hopeless. Even if all that awaits her at the end is despair, darkness, and failure.

eXxCeZz

I prefer you watching in one go, can't wait for 2 weeks to pass :D

Rin mentioned Imaginary Number Space when she saw the Shadow. Imaginary Number Space is a dimension that exists next to but separate from observable reality. It’s essentially an infinite void that is nearly impossible to access. If someone *could* access imaginary number space, they could use it as storage that no one else could access or escape from, or they could use the space to teleport between different points in reality. To access Imaginary Number Space, you either need incredible magic tech, or are born with the ability to do so. And you can count the people born with it on one hand. I’ll put it another way by analogy. Let’s say Rin is like LeBron James. She’s a genius and naturally talented at basically everything magecraft related. She can play basically every position. She could never access Imaginary Number Space because she wasn’t born with that trait. So someone who was born with Imaginary Number is like Steph Curry. A singular talent with a game-breaking ability that changes everything when they enter the game. Someone who can go toe to toe with someone like Rin.

It's funny, there is so much going on, you guys didn't even try to take a shot at rider's identity lol. Beside assassin, it is pretty much the only one we were still missing. Also, do keep in mind that in this universe, bodyfluids are THE way to restore mana. It does not necessarily make the person drinking it a vampire. It takes a much more prevalent role in these movies than it did in the other fate stories so far, too.

finally got to see this! waiting was torturous when you dont know the date its supposed to come out at. In any case you can absolutely have a favorite route my order for how much i like them is fate(saber) route>Sakura(heaven's feel)>Rin(UBW) with the heroines actually being in the same order of my liking for them. Now im gonna say some lore Vampires in fate are actually very expanded upon because the work nasu did before Fate is Tsukihime which the plot of it revolved around vampires. So Vampires are split into two categories of those who were Vampires from the beginning True Ancestors who in fate are more similar to nature spirits and are closer in being to fairies and those who became vampires later on which are Dead Apostles and you seen some in action in fate zero as thats what Shirely i think was her named turned into and the guy Natalia killed on the plane. Because of what i said earlier True Ancestors dont really even need blood or burn in the sun, blood is more like a drug to them that once they taste they want more and more off. The reason they even have that is cause the earth hates humans and wants them dead so it made a contract with the moon to make them to kill humans not that relevant at the moment so dont bother understanding it. Moving on to Dead Apostles does are actually the traditional vampires that burn in the sun and need blood to drink because their bodies keep degrading and the only way to slow it down is to keep drinking human blood. If I remember correctly in the original tsukihime the need for blood was compounding so the longer you lived the more you needed it but I dont think that was mentioned in the remake at least when I read it I dont remember it being mentioned so that part might be retconned. in any case im not sure Zouken is a dead apostle but this one might be relevant as in even if he is not he might be using a similar mechanism, is that the reason we have legends of vampires turning into animals like wolves is that because their bodies are constantly degrading sometimes they fill up their missing parts with animals and the turning we see is just them letting those parts out for a moment. which might be what zouken is doing just with bugs until he entirely became them is he? I'm dusty on fsn lore particulars so dont quote me as a fact. If you want more info on dead apostles they actually have ranks rank I is pretty much a zombie and considered pretty much a familiar to vampires ranks 2-3 are pretty dumb but look humand and are progressively smarter if I remember correctly rank 4 is pretty much a vampire just still under a dead apostle and they begin to burn in the sun at this one i think im not writing this from the wiki rank 6 or 7 is when you are independent from a master i think they were called castle lords or something like that. The reason for the name and why they make servants in the first place is so they can set up a lair and hide in it while the servants are collecting blood and turning the city village town or whatever into vampires and they hide so humans dont hunt them in turn. Thats all i have to say its a lore dump so i wont blame for not reading it

Your rider point is incorrect, shirou is the same as shinji and not because he has horrible mana reserves(we dont know his reserves, all we know is that he has higher magic circuit count than the average mage WITH AN UNKNOWN QUALITY i cannot stress that enough) its because his contract with saber was incorrectly made so the mana is not reaching saber. the reason saber is stronger is because she has more base mana of her own than rider does and so at the beginning of the story is simply much stronger than rider since her mana supplies are still at a high level at the moment

Tom

I am still team rin

Always.

Wes has been spot on about his thoughts on Shinji. He's a character that NEEDS a lot of introspection to understand. Yes! Shinji sent Sakura over to help Shirou while his arm was injured. This is some much-needed backstory that this adaptation unfortunately won't explore. Shirou and Shinji were childhood best friends. They initially bonded because Shinji hated seeing Shirou constantly taken advantage of and bullied for his self-sacrificing nature. Don't get me wrong, Shinji was still an arrogant asshole, but he was also the kind of bully who practically acted as Shirou's personal bodyguard, secretly destroying the social lives of anyone who tried to take advantage of him. That's why Shinji looked so distraught after Shirou essentially just took the abuse after he ordered him to clean up the Archery Club Dojo. I think what he really wanted was for Shirou to stand up for himself and reject him, but he ended up disappointed when he just decided to take it. I really cannot emphasize enough just how close these two were. That's why despite seeming incorrigible, Shirou doesn't really want to give up on him because they have history together. Shinji only started seriously spiraling three years before the events of the main story. His relationship with Shirou finally fell apart a year before the main narrative, after Shirou discovered that Shinji had been physically abusing Sakura after seeing bruises on her. Please keep this backstory in mind when analyzing Shinji's characterization throughout the movies. It adds a LOT of context to his character and, more importantly, his relationship with Shirou. Also, please listen to, and read the lyrics of each of the ending songs of the movies. They all represent Sakura's state of mind for each part

Time for my favorite servant (Rider) to shine!

Armando

Finally! So pumped

For me UBW is my favourite route because I really like the focus on Shirou's inner conflict and the critique of his idealism, i read the visual novel some 12 years ago and I was going through a shift myself from a Shirou's Fate route personality (even more selfless and chivalric than you saw in UBW where he tries to avoid killing even his enemies and tries to prevent Saber from fighting because she's a woman), to Kiritsugu's more pragmatic greater good mentality, whilst trying to think about how there could be a best of all worlds option. So yeah UBW hit a few key notes for me and Shirou was more balanced than in Fate. HF I appreciate because it's the darkest route, and I like dark tragic stories, but I didn't resonate with this version of shirou and this interpretation of his ideals as much, and I don't like the focus characters as much except for rider because of who her character is based on, is a character I was fascinated by in my youth.

Zen

Maybe once they start on Grand Order, yeah absolutely.

yuuno scraia

When shirou called for saber and used a command spell, he actually called for her like he did in UBW, so that she would teleport to him. Also, because you wont be seing the other route, the start, that fastforwarded the school incident, the fight at home against lancer and the summoning, it also fastforwarded the thing that changed the route to ubw or another route. In the ubw route, shirou used a command spell to stop saber from slashing at archer. This is why archer was absent from the fight against berserker, he was recovering. Rin also told shirou that she has to go tend to her servant. Also, the routes dont just change because shirou did something different. Multiple characters change up what they did in the other routes, or even things happening that did not happen in other routes. So yeah, a good amount of butterflyeffects is going on, but also other charecters changing up of what they did in other routes Also also: Ilya calling Shirou onii-chan is obviously meant as big brother, but it is also used by children to just adress guys that look a little older then them, like about 10 to 15 years i presume. Same for onee-chan for girls/women

2026-11-08 00:23 Yes, Japan starts the school year in Spring, along with the cherry blossoms. Normally, Servants lose their memory of any previous summoning after they return to the Throne of Heroes. Hence why Ilya said Saber wouldn't remember. As for why she does remember, that's only revealed in Fate route. One of the interesting things about Heaven's Feel is how different it is from the other two routes, as you've seen. Fate and UBW routes, while they have significant differences, are more or less the same story. Then Heaven's Feel introduces this..... thing.

By the way, there’s already an anime with “gun magic” — it’s called The Irregular at Magic High School. I’d be interested to see your reaction to it.

Hoping that you react to the ending themes for all 3 movies, including the lyrics, they are incredible!

2:04:20 — The scene where Shirou and Rin are sitting at a table in a park on separate benches with their backs to each other (i.e., not looking at each other) — it looks like it takes place in the very same park where, in Fate/Zero, we see Rin’s and Sakura’s mother talking with Matou Kariya and Rin. It’s in that scene that Kariya learns that Sakura has been taken in by the Matou family.

I think we should recommend Kara no Kyoukai (garden of sinner) next. It's the next best movie series from type moon universe.

So far, the events seem quite unexpected. It’s hard to predict what will happen next. The idea that the “shadow creature” is Sakura, or something connected to Sakura, seems obvious. But first, it seems too obvious — we’re regularly shown a sleeping Sakura whenever the “shadow creature” appears — and second, it’s not very clear why or how the “shadow creature” could even be connected to Sakura. Sure, it could be some kind of Matou and Gilgamesh experiment, but I doubt it. There’s definitely some connection between them, but I hope there’s something else hidden here. It also seemed strange that the “vampiric ability” that leaves red vein-like lines is connected to Rider, yet it also resembles the red lines the “shadow creature” uses. On top of that, both look like the Grail (in the form Illya saw it in). It seems quite likely that the “shadow creature” is the Grail itself or its vessel — and that’s why Sakura is connected to it; some Gilgamesh experiments could lead to that, since last time it was he who chose the vessel — Illya and Shinji’s body. I find the thought frightening that maybe this time Gilgamesh has chosen Sakura in advance as the sacrifice. If I temporarily set aside the idea of a direct connection between the shadow creature and Sakura, I still lean toward Sakura being Rider’s Master. There’s a much smaller chance that the Master is now Mitsuzuri. Rider’s vampiric ability seems like it could point to that, but Mitsuzuri couldn’t have been Rider’s Master before Rider bit her, right? So there must have been a Master already. And it doesn’t look like it’s Shinji. So I’m leaning toward it being Sakura. Another possibility is that the Master is Gilgamesh — he’s been shown surprisingly little (and he said something to Sakura, but we still don’t know what). But if Gilgamesh is the Master, then I don’t understand why he’d save Shirou using Rider. There are also a couple of crazy ideas — maybe Rider decided to save Shirou herself, seeing his kindness. Or maybe in this route, Rider isn’t Sakura’s Servant but Sakura herself? They look far too much alike. Or maybe Rider is Mitsuzuri. P.S. I like your succubus theory. I had similar thoughts, but Saber’s eye color confuses me. Maybe the “shadow creature” really is the Grail, and it’s corrupting the heroes’ souls? In that sense, some kind of “succubus ability” doesn’t seem surprising. I tried to come up with alternatives, but nothing else comes to mind. On one hand, there are too many versions. On the other, none of them seem precise enough.

lasher840

there is literally a cooking anime spin off

Klinch

I need Steph & Wes to guess who Rider is. 😂😂 (I also don't know as I'm a first time watcher)

BananaPengu1n

I love watching OST YT reactions but I have no clue of it myself. HF was the only time I ever recognized a composer/artist again - during the lancer chase I instantly had Princess Principal vibes. Also upvote for listening to the endings! 2nd movie one is my favorite of the three.

TSP

And it's great

Lone Wolf Knight

Two weeks is gonna feel like forever but it's worth it if it means a full movie reaction instead of splitting it into parts. Can't wait!

12:28 "In another world the could do a cooking anime". Well they actually made one. Its called "Emiya-san Chi no Kyō no Gohan"

Raydough

Im surprised at how large the fate audience is here. None of the other channels I watched did that well on Fate

Kamy

I think that subtility is important though, especially tying into the overall theme of Shirou's character in those movies (might be a slight spoiler): being an ally of justice (hero for everyone) vs an ally (a hero to) of a single person.

rryutie

wes "i love gun" steph "he might get his ass eaten" (shinji) amazing reaction!! super enjoyable. i cant wait for movie 2!! The amount of times steph screamed is SO funny its like this was a horror movie for her LMAO
