Jungkook was doing backvocal in « LETTER » at the end !

fatima palijo

Jimin said in the suga episode that he wrote a Letter for army when it was disclosed that they were taking a break and he basically translated all his words to lyrics for Letter!

Gaby Serrato

The voices in Like crazy are voice actors acting dialogs similar to a few ones in the movie the song is based off, "Like crazy" starring Felicity Jones and Anton Yelchin. Jimin has said in the past he loves this movie. For Interlude:Dive most of the sound effects (steps, heavy breathing after running, etc) were recorded by Jimin himself, and the part with the speech is from from their Busan concert.

I have really enjoyed all the solo albums. Since I have heard albums from the rapline already prior to these new solo albums, I felt like I knew more of what to expect. With Jimin's album, I genuinely didn't know what his sound would be, since his has vocalized how much he sees himself as part of a group and not a solo artist. What I have always enjoyed about BTS' albums is that I can sit and listen to them all the way through, and they tell a cohesive story. Jimin's album really expressed the feeling of having so much time on our own during the pandemic and needing to escape but resolving to be better. For me I am not a drinker, but it was still very relatable.

You should definitely watch some of the variety contents and shows the members did for their solo promotions. For example, Jimin’s been on: Pixid https://youtu.be/xPCY_hs48qA Lee Mujin Service https://youtu.be/1wvz8Rs7dgc Beat Coin (ep 30) https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x8k1bh4 DdeunDdeun (with Suga) https://youtu.be/ZfOXJJN7nNk He’s done a lot more stuff but these are like the main shows he’s been on. He also has dance practices for Set Me Free Pt. 2 and Like Crazy if you’re interested in those.

Oh my GO PLEEEEEAAAASE watch PIXID!!! jimin went undercover in a chat group with armys! !

Loved hearing your thoughts on face! Yes, Jimin was so impressive, the way he managed to show his range and versatility while keeping a cohesive feeling throughout the journey was perfect. Fun fact, you know Jimin said on suchwita he didn’t want any features/collabs since it was his first album about him, but Jungkook is still doing background vocals on letter, which I found really sweet. My favourite song is either alone or letter, I love that emotional slow kind of music.

Yes, I think the beat coin episode would be right up their alley too!

Lela

Jimin actually mentioned on Suchwita that Face Off is about some friends he "drifted apart from" and in a 2020 interview he also mentioned how he recently came to see some people for who they really are 😬. And I agree that song shows so many unexpected sides to Jimin's voice that I think vocally it surprised me the most!

Lela

You captured Like Crazy quite well. It's literally a song about escapism and trying to run away from your real pain (I don't remember Jimin's exact words anymore). I think the only thing you might need to consider too is that the album is a chronicle of his feelings during the pandemic. So a lot of his negative feelings and the drinking are a direct result of the isolation and them not being able to go on tour like planned and feeling unsure about their future since they originally planned to enlist after their 2020 tour. Jimin also mentioned that at the beginning he didn't even notice how bad he was doing mentally because of all that. Also: Wes you projecting your own feelings and experiences on to the song just means it is doing what art is supposed to do ;) and I think that's great

Michella Lewis

Hey, I'm super curious about Wes' fermentation journey... so... how's it going?

Lela

This is probably one of my fav album reactions you guys have done :) it was amazing to see the songs getting you to talk, think and relate. I'm glad you managed to capture the story of the album so well and I agree I think making music is a catharsis for all of them. Rm and Suga have also mentioned that and Jimin said he worked through his emotions with these songs and is not at this place mentally anymore :)

Lela

Ok sorry for commenting along haha but to answer your question: my personal favorite solo albums so far are Face and Indigo 😊 I can and do listen to them every day. Kinda curious to know what Wes' favorite solo album has been so far

nylecoj

guys remember to watch the episode with rm and suga (where rm interviews suga about his album d-day) before reacting to the album!! enjoyed your reaction as always!

Keisha L

Lol, I don't know if y'all have even seen this performance, but I feel like Wes's description of Like Crazy English version perfectly matches the vibe of Dynamite (Slow Jam Remix) at the GDAs: https://youtu.be/sow0oC8B4LY

Ayushi Panth

Did you guys noticed the Jungkook's vocals in Letter?

l.l0l4

"I'm feelin' so alive, wasting time" part was in English in Korean ver. too) And the breakdown is in the original ver. as well ;)

Carolina

i don't know why it makes me so anxious when wes looks to his side when he talks and misses something in the screen hshhshs but anyway thank you so much for your reactions!!! i love thaht you guys take the time and put the effort to listen to some interviews before so you can have a better understanding of the lyrics and the meaning behind them<3

Phyllis St. Pierre

I'm with you Stephanie. Face Off is my new favorite song!

Phyllis St. Pierre

Remember that in his conversation with SUGA, he said he wrote Letter as a song to ARMY after that dinner party they had in which they told us they were going to take a "break". He said that he knew how ARMY must be feeling so he wrote that song to comfort us. 💜 It works for me.

Gaica

Please please when you do suga's use zaty farhani for lyrics cuz the other videos butcher the translations

kookmineve

Jungkook is singing on Letter, you can hear him very clearly. Its beautiful he had Jungkook sing on a song that meant so much to him and it being the hidden track on the album, the day before the album came out jungkook actually played the song on the guitar for us, but we didn't know that was what he was playing

Ayushi Panth

Please react to Bon Voyage Season 4, there's also BTS Cookie Run Kingdom. episodes

Nele

this whole album is so SO amazing, i just love it <3 even the title of this album being "face" and jimin said that it means to face something/himself.. just wow !! i absolutely love set me free pt.2 and letter the hidden track 🥰

coney

omg 😍💜

Chels

Jimin said the secret track is a love letter to army.. I am bawling 😭 I needed that

Joseins

He did a performance for like crazy on late night show (Jimmy Fallon) as well if you want to check it out 😆

Marissa K

Finally getting to this ! 💜 the interlude brings me back to one of Janet Jackson's albums. She had like 5 interludes on one album with just sounds effects and instrumentals. It brings back when artists put those interludes in to break up two songs, or to bridge two songs. Jimin thought this was needed from the angry Face Off to the escapism of Like Crazy. He has the alarm clock for Alone.

Marissa K

I'm the same as Steph, Jimins album has been my favorite but his voice and music styling has always resonated with me the most, followed closely by Suga. I feel these two play with their voices and sound the most though, so every song on the album doesn't sound or feel the same.

kookmineve

I hope you re listen to Letter with the knowledge that Jungkook is singing on the track, it makes it even more significant and beautiful

Kai-Riin Kanarbik

letter is for army, he wrote the lyrics based on a letter he wrote for armys in june 2022
