This is another funny episode "ship in a bottle" style. Don't worry, major plot points always happen during the last few episodes of a season. Runway 39'er always makes me laugh every time

Can I ask when you are gonna start The Crown? I am soooo excited. It is my second favorite series behind WW of course😉

We definitely are getting more extreme. There's (at least from my perspective) slightly more of a spread among Democrats, but not much. But since Trump it's basically just people who support Trump. Liz Cheney was politically very conservative, and agreed with Trump almost across the board on policy, but she still got kicked out of her seat just for saying that Trump was wrong.

Thanks for another great reaction. I am so excited for the next four eps you have no idea. The next two eps for me, especially, are so good and the guest star is amazing!

I'm so excited to watch you react to the next four episodes. They include some of my favorite moments of the series. There's a narrative line that connects them, making them feel like one four-hour movie. Some of the best acting, writing, and directing of the show. And of course, Aaron Sorkin's final episodes.

I've long ago given up on anyone doing Studio 60 reactions due to it only going one season but being you guys enjoy the bits of Sorkin comedy WW provides you really should at least watch on your own. It holds up alot better then Sports Night does(laugh tracks from mid 90s irritate me) While WW is something like 75% drama 25% comedy, Studio 60 is close to the opposite of that. Makes for alot of fun with great cast of Matthew Perry, Bradley Whitford, Amanda Peet, Timothy Busfield, Sarah Paulson, and many more.

We've been very curious about it. We are planning on doing The Newsroom after we finish WW. Who knows? Maybe down the road we will check it out

I consider myself an American first, and everything else behind that. Wish more people (regardless of country) would do that too. Politics would be a lot easier. Originally airing on April 2, 2003, 'Angel Maintenance' is Episode 19 of Season 4 of The West Wing. It is the 85th episode overall and has an IMDB rating of 7.7, placing it as the #18 ranked episode of this season and #78 out of all the episodes shown so far.

Studio 60 the sketches aren't necessarily supposed to be funny - that's kinda key to the plot. People got pretty confused by this and I think it is partially related why it failed commercially. I think that show would do better in the modern era for a long list of reasons, not least the removal of the pressure for creating a 20+ episode season and make content to fill it. It's kinda funny, there are things said about Sarah Paulson's character in that show that turned out to be true of Sarah Paulson as her career went on.. It is funny you mention Studio 60 though (don't ask why). "I don't like Jean-Paul" oh, you have no idea. I've always liked this episode quite a lot, there's something about the way it's put together than you don't see much in the show that makes it a nice change of pace; also that AF1 set was famously quite expensive to build, you'd think they'd use it more than they do.

I consider myself a human being first and everything else behind that. I believe if more of us would think that way, it would make us all better human beings.

Weird Magic

Well said - I was coming from the "American political perspective" angle, but I very much like your way of putting it as well

Weird Magic

BTW - Strong suggestion as we get to the end of the season - it's that time of year again to try your best to ignore the actors/guest stars etc. at the beginning of the episode...ya know...just in case it might help with any possible surprises coming up ;)

Interestingly it is perfectly possible to land a plane without the front wheel, especially if the pilots and ground crew know to expect it. There's lots of clever ways they can configure the plane to reduce risks, albeit not eliminate them. One of my favourite YouTube channels is an air accident analysis one (don't talk to me at parties!) which goes through how air accidents happened in detail, and they talked through the story of JetBlue Flight 292 which had to land with a front gear stuck down and twisted at 90 degrees. They took the same steps - F-16 tried to get a look at it, fly low so the airport tower can inspect it, etc., although they couldn't fix it. It's actually happened a lot of times in that particular model of plane, all for different reasons, but each time it was able to land successfully with no casualties. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rpsgn9LM0G8

I'm french and I approve Kevin's "french royalty" accent X'D It's hilarious !

Btw, how's it possible that you remember the face and name and title of every small character, like Mark Richardson ?! I didn't remember seeing him the 1st time around when I watched the show, he was just in 2 episodes ans such a long time ago...I admire that ! I couldn't remember things like this.

I was apparently one of the few people who thoroughly enjoyed Studio 60. It certainly was not perfect, it's humor may have been here and there, but I got pretty invested by the end of its single season, and rewatched it quite a few time. I thought it's clever, interesting, and has some pretty good, sorkiny moments making your heart go wahhh.

Youtalkingtome

I agree with the both of you. From a political perspective, I am an American. I believe that everyone has the right for the pursuit of happiness. I am a human being first and foremost and believe that the pursuit of happiness shouldn't have borders.

Youtalkingtome

I can't wait to get into the behind the scenes of this show. AF1 is one of my favorite sets, next to the war room. We will check out Studio 60. Whether or not it's on here or in our own time. I will watch it!

Youtalkingtome

I can't wait to check it out. Like I said, we'll see it eventually. I just have no memory of it being on tv! That makes me even more curious to check it out.
