The actor portraying the bakery customer will return later in the series in a pivotal role as different character named Vito.

Just a very solid episode with two Goodfellas references. During Dr. Melfi’s (Bracco) family dinner it mentioned that America associates Italian-Americans with The Godfather or Goodfellas. Bracco obviously played Karen Hill, and then when Christopher shoots the guy in the foot that was a homage to when Imperioli playing Spider gets shot in the foot while bartending a Wise Guy’s card game. I also love the episode title LEGEND OF TENNESSEE MOLTISANTI! Between Adriana calling Tennessee William (not Williams 🤣) and the music credit cue of FRANK SINATRA by Cake. F**king brilliant.

It was a great series of references in this episode. Christopher shooting the clerk in the foot immediately made me think of his Goodfellas character.

The circle is complete....the Dupont Circle I guess... :D > In the early 1930s, Buchalter created an effective process for performing contract killings for Cosa Nostra mobsters; it had no name, but the press 10 years later called it Murder, Inc. The Cosa Nostra mobsters wanted to insulate themselves from any connection to these murders. Buchalter's partner, mobster Albert Anastasia, would relay a contract request from the Cosa Nostra to Buchalter. In turn, Buchalter would assign the job to Jewish and Italian street gang members from Brooklyn. < Toby Ziegler's dad worked for Anastasia... :)

Obvious a shout out to Goodfellas since Tommy shot Spyder in the foot and Spyder is Chistopher
