Are you sure you don't want to do For All Mankind and The Americans on the same night - guaranteed ulcer! 🤣

The partners name is Dennis Aderholt - put it on a sticky for next time ;) LOL My first request for J&K ever - I am BEGGING for the YouTube edit screenshot to be from 27:39!!!! Originally airing on April 27, 2016, 'Travel Agents' is Episode 7 of Season 4 of The Americans. It is the 46th episode overall and has an IMDB rating of 8.9, placing it as the #1 ranked episode of this season and #3 out of all the episodes shown so far.

The piece of information that I withheld from my posts last week on the Romeo spies is that a number of their romantic victims - possibly a significant number - did indeed commit suicide.

I watched this series when it was first run, and when I think back, there are several totally stand-out episodes. This was one that has stuck with me over the years. The tension and emotion regarding Martha's plight was expertly conveyed through the writing, directing, and acting. In order to avoid falling into a deep depression, I have to repeatedly remind myself that Martha is in reality a perfectly happy British actress who went on to play many other roles.

She is nailing this role. They really wrote her into a corner and even though it's a very bleak character arc. Alison Wright does deserve all the roles. She is incredible. I think once she is "off" the show, it will have ripple effects that will affect the rest of the show and the characters choices.

I would have run straight to the FBI and spilled my guts to them. At least Martha’s parents can visit her in federal prison. Who knows what these KGB people would do? Send her to Nina’s cell in Siberia? Kill her and dump her body where it would never be found and her parents get zero closure?
