The best part is how GRRM wrote a great political saga in medieval (and dare I say fantastic) times, and the showrunners managed to put it to screen with such quality! That's why it was considered the best TV show of all times, at least until they didn't have any originally written material at their disposal, and then.... well.... ehum..... I won't go there. But as I said earlier, it's still all worth the watch!

I really love this episode! Bronn is known as a sellsword, which means his loyalty is to no kingdom, only to himself. This is why he is such an incredible swordsman. Additionally, the actors who portray Bronn and Cersei were previously in a relationship that ended badly before the show? The situation became so messy that they were not permitted to film scenes together or be on set at the same time. Isn't that crazy? The actor who played Viserys is actually the great, great, great grandson of Charles Dickens? He's even acted in two television adaptations of his grandfather's novels! Fun fact: The scene where they give him his golden crown had to be done in one take because they were worried the gold paint would ruin his clothes.

I wonder why they broke up. I'll have read into that. Yeah, someone previously mentioned that they were related. He crushed this villain role, a little too well

Just a detail - I don't know where it is that you read the thing about 13 episodes, but that's not right - all seasons except the last ones are 10 episodes each. The last scene of this episode is always so satisfying to watch. Viserys has been a little sh*t for 6 episodes by now, so it really feels like comeuppance what happens to him - and in such a fitting way too !

God I love Bobby B (King Robert). The writing for him is so great, and Mark Addy's delivery is unbelievable. It was a bit on the nose, but I enjoyed Littlefinger giving Ned (and the audience) the Cliff's Notes while he was hearing petitioners. I absolutely love the Eyrie, and a bit sad we don't get to see it that much. The sky cells and the moon door are awesome concepts brought to life.

Bronn, who fought for Tyrian, was in a UK pop duo called Robson and Jerome in the 90's.

I feel like this episode is when you start to get into the meat of the show just a bit and start to realize how cleverly all of the story lines are woven together and how early certain plot points are introduced

I was completely captivated by the Eyrie. Amazing set. Bobby B. That's the only way I'll refer to him from now on.

Their cover of Unchained Melody was at Number 1 in the UK charts for 7 weeks, and they sold a few million albums and singles.

The Inedible Mattman!

This was the episode where I fell in love with Tyrion. AND Bronn!! A very enjoyable group of people to watch. Tyrion is definitely clever to have come up with what he did. At this point in the show, he was about the smartest person we had seen! And the scene at the end ... I didn't see it coming. It's one of those "THEY CAN DO THAT ON TELEV ISION!?" kind of moments for me haha

Truly. I can't believe they get away with half the stuff they do. I have a feeling we haven't even scratched the surface yet
