As much as I hate the Danny/Karen storyline, your reaction to *that* song playing at the wedding was so hilarious that it almost made the whole thing worth it. This episode is one of my absolute favorites of the show. It feels like a classic disaster movie, but with the vector of threat being gradually increasing gravity, which is such a cool idea and something I’ve never seen before. I love all the little details they use to show the progression of it, like the cake gradually collapsing in on itself, people starting to stumble on the dance floor, and thrown objects not going as far as people expect.

By the way, I'm not sure if you've noticed, but there are often a series of clips (usually one per year) between seasons that provide a deeper dive into what happened during the time jump. Instead of just a quick montage at the beginning of the premiere, these clips offer more insight into how the events unfolded in this alternate timeline. I wonder if you'd be willing to react to these clips as a separate update, taking its own week if needed, or even as part of the premiere reaction if you're feeling generous. Each clip is about 2 minutes long, and since the typical season jump is around 10 years, that's a total of 20 minutes of extra content. It would be great to get your thoughts on these bonus clips as someone who has lived through the time in our current timeline!

In real life, Margaret Thatcher narrowly avoided being assassinated by the IRA in the Brighton Hotel bombing in 1984. In For All Mankind's alternate history, Thatcher doesn't survive ( but John Lennon does, playing at the 2002 SuperBowl...) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brighton_hotel_bombing

Still the most stressful show on TV. 😀

I would also love to see him react to these. I really enjoy the extra context they add. There were also a series of “videophone messages” that they did for Season 2, showing some nice little extra moments with a few of the characters, corresponding to each episode. All the bonus videos for a given season should appear at the bottom of the page if you click into the page for any specific episode of the season (without playing it).
