The overall plan for the season meant that the Judge would be charmed into listening by one of her favorite aging-handsomely stars of the TV shows she likes to binge. When they'd secured Timothy Olyphant (and permission from Justified to use his character), they wove mentions of him and the show into the season starting back with its first episode.

That's cool, I did not know that bit of trivia. I should check out Justified, I loved Olyphant in Santa Clarita Diet opposite Drew Barrymore. Unfortunately another Netflix original cancelled before its time on a huge cliffhanger, but I still recommend it.

It's funny that Chidi says he has a craving for warm pretzels, because in Season 3 when they're in the Good Place mailroom, we learn from Janet that warm pretzels and "absolute moral truth" have very similar smells. Chidi is the one that notices it actually.

You should watch Justified! It’s an amazing show and whenever anyone talks about my favorite series finales, The Good Place and Justified are the two I mention.

So this episode must have been amazing for you! I've always heard good things. Would not be opposed to it in the future.

catching up on videos—gotta love disco janet!! if y’all ever want more d’arcy in your life, she was really great in a league of their own (2022)! it’s quite short, and definitely deserved another season, but i love watching her book more and more roles!!
