There doesn't seem to be a video attached.

Sarah P

No video attached, bud!

The only time people will cheer for a child horrifically dying.

- Man, the schadenfreude of Joffrey dying and Cersei in agony is so beautiful. Only sullied by the fact that Tyrion is clearly going to be blamed. - And then, just when I think Joffrey is the literal worst, there's Ramsay, who is somehow even more terrible. - Alex Graves, who directed this (and several other episodes) also directed 34 episodes of The West Wing (including the episode you and Kevin just watched, "In the Room").

Jeff

Joe at the start of the episode: "Somebody should kill him!" Joe at the end: "I'm so happy right now!"

Awww I still haven't caught up, but I love to see the thumbnail with this smile, in place of the devastation on your face at the end of last season. No one on there life could ever believe they would root for the downfall of a child so hard and be so satisfied to see it. 😅🫶🏾

Most satisfying death in TV history?

Roland Cooke

We appreciated your Joffrey-esque glee at Joffrey's demise. 🤣

> At Joffrey Baratheon's wedding in "Game of Thrones," the singers were the Icelandic band Sigur Rós who performed their version of "The Rains of Castamere" during the ceremony; essentially serving as the wedding band for the event. <

The make-up department earned their money for Joffrey's death, brilliant and chilling. (Maybe some subtle CGI in there as well?)

Still infuriates me that people harassed Jack Gleeson because they couldn't distinguish the actor from his stellar performance.

Oh boy did you get some of that revenge this episode... The books are pretty mean-spirited a lot of the time too, but there are a few ways the show has been meaner recently. First there's Theon's torture being much more onscreen, then there's the fact you got the Red Wedding (Robb and Catelyn's death, as well as the death of the Stark rebellion overall) and the Purple Wedding (Joffrey's death) spread over two seasons; both happened in one book so at least you didn't end a book on Robb betrayed to his death without any consequence for Joffrey yet.

Yannick Denis-Trudel

Finally, you've witnessed the "purple wedding" (after the "red wedding" in season 3... yeah, don't want a colorful event GoT, it's bad luck for someone!)

Yannick Denis-Trudel

Some pointers: - Unfortunately, Margery can't be the queen since they haven't "consummated" the wedding. - The "new" sites on the map in the intro were the same ones from last week (the Dreadfort for the Boltons & Meereen for Daenerys), you just didn't put attention to them before ;-)

Yannick Denis-Trudel

As for the other storylines (Jon, Daenerys, Aria & the Hound), there's sooo many things to be seen in each episode that it's almost a blessing they separate some stories in different episodes. If not, it would be too packed and nothing would be going forward, IMO

Youtalkingtome

I did miss the new locations. Sucks that she can't be queen but I'm sure she'll be sticking around. I can't wait to see who murdered him!

Youtalkingtome

I thought I recognized his name. Ramsay might be worse but I don't know. We've suffered 3 whole seasons with Joffrey.
