Over the next three seasons there will be a post 9/11 feel and influence on the series. This is the season “Joey Pants” win the best supporting actor Emmy for portraying Ralphie.

A fluffernutter is a fried sandwich with peanut butter and marshmallow creme. Once you finish the series, you’ll want to check out The Many Saints of Newark, the Sopranos prequel movie David Chase made a few years ago. Lots of people thinks it’s bad. I don’t agree. Stars Alessandro Nivola as Christopher’s dad and James Gandolfini’s son Michael as young Tony.

I may have mentioned in comments to another episode that the actor playing Paulie was an actual gangster. Tony Sirico had been in jail for robbery, assault, extortion and other crimes having been arrested more than 20 times in the late 60s and did time in Sing Sing as a low level member of the Colombo crime family. He took acting classes while in prison and wound up in Goodfellas and other films before The Sopranos.....

I know you mentioned The Soprano’s being blocked by The West Wing last episode, but can’t help but repeat this story that I know I posted around when you started the series. Now that you know who Josh Malina is you can hear it in his voice. Gandolfini bitched after TWW won for the fourth year in a row “I don’t even know why we fucking show up!!” A reporter asked Joshua Malina about it and, being the smartass he is, said, “I could have sworn he played Tony Soprano on that show….not Big Pussy.” Lol
