Absolute legend of the screen. Often underrated. Always Brilliant. The first actor I associated with being a "movie star" as a kid. Whether you remember him as Ice Man, Doc Holiday, Jim Morrison, Batman, Gay Perry, or my personal favorite Chris Shiherlis. You can tell he gave a committed performance to every role. Rest in Peace Val Kilmer.

I loved him so much as Iceman, Doc Holiday (and even The Saint). Gone way too soon, RIP Val Kilmer.

I can’t believe this is how I find out. RIP 💔

If you haven't seen it, check out the movie Real Genius! It's one of the earliest movies i remember seeing him in (early for my life, not his career)

Just devastating news. I'm so glad he got to do Top Gun: Maverick, and let us all see his real life journey with the end of his life mean so much in that movie.

I’m glad you got to see Kiss Kiss Bang Bang before he passed, absolute scene stealer and one of my favourite things he ever did.

RIP to a real legend 🖤

If you haven't seen it yet, Top Gun: Maverick (2022) is an incredible film! Val comes back to play Iceman and although his part is considerably smaller, the heart he put in it is so powerful! They had to use his son's voice and AI to recreate his voice. Would love a reaction from you guys!

Actuarial Lurker

His best role in my opinion was playing Jim Morrison in the Doors biopic

Heather

Very sad news. He really went through it over the last few years.

Time for a Val Kilmer poll.

yes. add chris knight to the list of iconic val kilmer characters! and this is an 80s movie that actually holds up - very little (unintentional) cringe.

My husband an I went 3 times, also... and I never do that! That movie was just incredible!
