Of all the side characters on this show, Minna is, by far, my favorite.

She's great! She manages the awkwardness of every interaction with Selena so perfectly well! The secondhand embarrassment I feel during all of her scenes if just masterful.

What DOESN'T this episode have? Andrew, Minna.....you wanted more Catherine, you got it! And I just have to keep saying it: Kevin Dunn and Gary Cole are now really hitting their stride, I love how sort of avuncular Kevin Dunn has become to everybody, like when he helps Mike with the speech, or asks Amy about not being campaign manager. Once again, Anna Chlumsky is so brilliant as that super-tense character. Everyone is!

PS: It's so funny.....so much happens in this episode that I kept thinking that the episode was ending, and that this whole story was a two or three episode arc! Oh my god, I forgot all about the handshake scene! And the Q&A at the end......that scene in the hotel hallway? With all those great characters? And all over in less than a half hour! Amazing. It's like a magic trick! That felt like an hour show, plot-wise!

When I was watching this show for the second time, I would watch lots of scenes multiple times, keeping my eyes on a different character/actor each go around! (That'll be my last comment, sorry!). (LOVE these VEEP reactions....and all the others as well!)

This was my favorite Anna Chumsky performance of the show so far. She was great! She plays "I am uncomfortable with human vulnerability" so well.
