Hey, guys! Some of you are asking (completely fairly) what is taking so long to get to the films you purchased. The reason is that people picked so many, especially over a short period of time (you awesome people purchased 8 movies over a 2-day span a few weeks ago). We are going in order of when they were purchased. We can watch 3 movies a week (every other week this includes a poll movie), but we will be diligent to get to all your wonderful choices. Just to give a sneak-peak, here is the lineup of upcoming films in watch order:

1. A League of Their Own

2. Lone Star

3. 8 Seconds

4. Gallipoli

5. Top Hat

6. The Sapphires

7. The Bandwagon

8. Slumdog Millionaire

9. North By Northwest

10. Julia

11. Dear Zachary

12. Dial M for Murder

13. Side by Side

14. Crazy Stupid Love

15. Barbie

We really appreciate your patience and for picking these films for us!

It's okay, guys, we know how busy you are and how much work you do : ) Also, BARBIE!!!! Thanks to whomever picked that!

Sunkrish Bala

Hahaha. I mean it IS a very good movie.

soooo. hypothetically... how much would I need to spend to add a new movie and get it moved ahead of all the other movies? make those people even angrier? just hypothetically.

Cristy

Gallipoli is a masterpiece, we watched that in school, so thank you. Also, glad someone beat me to North By Northwest 'cause I can't wait for that : )

Peggy G

I applaud whomever picked Crazy, Stupid, Love and A League of Thier Own. They are both all-time favorites of mine. 🫶

North By Northwest was me. Did you request Dial M for Murder? (Excellent choice btw!) If I remember right, we were both stunned the guys hadn't seen much Hitchcock yet :)

Michael Soukup

So many great films to look forward to. I was hoping the “last” Weir movie was Gallipoli—I have the poster framed on my wall. Truly one of the great anti-war films of all time imho.

Of course I know what A League of Their Own is, but I really don't know much about Crazy, Stupid Love at all.

Rebel Pilot

oh sweet, Leage of their own is amazing. Looking forward to that one. Also Love Julia. Most of the others I dont know yet. Might look into them with you then :)

Laura Room

Looking forward to A League of Their Own. Thank you to whomever purchased that one!!

lol. I just sent a note as well asking if K&J had already seen Death Proof (2007) as I was ready to order up another film...they have seen it though. Back to my archive to find one that tops Auntie Mame!
