Man, this season has so many award-winning parents. Jesus Christ.

Snoop's actor Felicia Pearson is very much the real deal, she was a real Baltimore drug dealer who spent six years in prison for murder.

Yes she is very close to this character in real life without the murders of course.

At the time of the show there was such a thing as pre-indicted corners. They had a crime enforcement strategy of picking intersections where someone was complaining and saying anyone who could not prove a legitimate reason to be within an enforcement zone would be arrested at least for loitering and then see what other charges they could get from what was on them or what people said. If you got picked up alot you could see some time just for being a repeat offender.

The scene asking for Carcetti to make coffee was longer to mock a real politician who wasn’t able to but they cut it because they thought it would make him look too stupid

Brian Harris

Stephen King said Snoop and Chris turned The Wire into the best horror show on television.

Most viewers had picked up that Michael had been molested as a youth, probably by his stepfather (Bugs' Dad) before, but his reaction this episode confirms it. Also, the prostitute we meet in Andre's shop in this episode is Dee Dee, who we met in the early stages of Hamsterdam last season, She was there nervously trying to buy an 8-ball while rejecting the advances of the dealers. She has clearly become less fearful of the neighborhood by this point. We will meet her again in season 5.

Whenever Marlo smiles, it never reaches his eyes. It just makes him looks nuts.

So excited for the rest of this season, there are some moments that never left my mind.
