In your intro, and in regards to the Targaryen family tree, you perhaps have the 2 brothers mixed. Viserys (that we have seen in the show, and died with a "golden crown" given by Khal Drogo), and Rhaegar. He's the one that everybody was saying was a gentle soul, and sang a lot (remember what Ser Barristan Selmy told Daenerys about him?) He's the one that kidnapped Lyanna (who was betrothed to Robert), and thus that's why Robert Baratheon killed him in combat during the rebellion. It solidified Robert's claim to the throne to remove the Mad King.

I also thought he had Rhaegar confused with someone else when he said that, but I figured he was conflating him with the Mad King rather than Viserys. At any rate, you and I both have hindsight of course, but at this point in the show there have been conflicting reports about Rhaegar - Barristan Selmy described him as one of the good guys, but to Ned and Robert, he was the monster who abducted Lyanna. So I can see how Joe would conclude that Jon might be the product of sexual assault.

Since you mentioned Arya and "the mask", I think it's worth explaining that the Faceless Men do more to change their appearance than just stick a dead person's face over their own. The whole thing is intentionally left ambiguous to preserve the air of mystery, but we do know that while they don't outright use magic as in spells and such, there is a magical element to it, as they are said to use a variety of tools, potions and arcane knowledge to transform themselves.

Please, don't feel sorry for us for getting the S7E1 "a bit later than expected", especially because you guys had to take over the slack on editing. Great if you give us another episode before next Thursday, but don't be sorry about it if you can't! Obviously, we would take 1 episode A DAY if it was possible... LOL ;-)

One last tidbit of information that passed quickly on screen, when Sam was reading about Dragonglass and how the Targaryens used it on their weapons as ornament, there's a drawing of the blade that was used to attack Bran in his bed in Season 1. And that blade is named "Catspaw"

One thing I'm often reminded of any time a character clearly doesn't trust Littlefinger is that this is a huge change from the books. In the TV show Littlefinger is successful despite the fact that nobody trusts him and everyone thinks he's slimy. In the books he's very, very good at hiding his intentions, and he's successful because EVERYBODY trusts him, they all think he's on their side. Someone reading the books might legitimately want Littlefinger to come out on top and become king, while almost no one watching the TV show would want that.

IIRC Ed Sheeran's cameo wasn't well-received at the time, too blatant. I think if they'd changed his appearance (big black beard, etc), that might have worked better.
