I think you might recognize the guy Donna sleeps with (Chris Lowell) from GLOW, which I LOVED, and I'm still so sad Netflix cancelled it. And he was in The Help, Veronica Mars... but he's also Kerry Bishé's actual husband!

I watched the first 3 seasons of this show when it originally aired but for some reason never saw the final season so now I am just as blind as you are going forward. I'm a little confused about what year we're in. The release of Mosaic was in January 1993 but the Hole album that contains "Doll Parts" wasn't released until April 1994. ("Doll Parts" was later released as a single in November 1994.) Cameron was watching the CBS show "Dark Justice" which ran from April 1991 to September 1993. The show was about a vigilante judge, who was also a former cop & district attorney. Basically he would go after criminals that he had freed on technicalities & ultimately get confessions from them which were admissible in court somehow. (I don't remember the show at all. I had to look it up.) Donna's one night stand was the actor Christopher Lowell. I'm not sure where you know him from. He was in GLOW, Veronica Mars, Up in the Air, Private Practice, and The Help, just to name a few of his acting credits. NGL, I got overly excited when Cameron mentioned Altered States, as JJ Abrams has cited it as the inspiration for my favorite show of all time, Fringe. I don't know how I feel about Dark Donna. She has always been my favorite character along with Bos. I'm really curious to see where the story goes from here.

♥ how they use music in this show/episode! don't think anyone's supposed to be the villain on this show. Don't think that was ever what the writers were going for. Just real people living their lives. Making mistakes along the way. Etc... Never was keen on Joe & Cam, but after watching understand why they kept on getting back together, but it drove a bunch of us krazy!
