Since you guys like 30 Rock you should if you’ve never seen it check out My Favorite Year (1980). Starring Mark Linn-Baker (Perfect Strangers) as a comedy writer working at 30 Rock in the 1950s during the heyday of live tv. Also starring Peter O’Toole as the Errol Flynn like alcoholic movie star that Baker is supposed to watch and keep out for trouble for several days. The idea for the movie coming from Mel Brooks experiences having to be Errol Flynn’s minder when he guest starred on Sid Caesar when Brooks was a writer. Very funny well worth a watch.

I bet when they made the joke that Jack was dating Condoleezza Rice all the way back in season 1 that she would be relevant to the story all the way now.

Kim Jong-Il died right in the middle of making this episode, so they segued immediately into Kim Jong-Un.
