I'm sad to see this series coming to an end! I've said before that it's been a long time since I last watched it so it's been nice to see the parts that I remember well alongside the parts I'd completely forgotten. One thing I did remember was the image of Olive dangling off the light fixture, lol. By the way, I did tell you that they had some time to wrap up the show but perhaps I should add thata they had very little of it. But it's still better than having zero notice! I only mention it to temper your expectations a little but also trying to avoid spoiling anything!

I guess the travelling salesman won’t be back if Olive has a different love interest now.

I didn’t realise that Olive, Lily and Vivian had reached the level of friendship where you can turn up with escaped convicts and ask for help breaking the law.

I'm delighted that you recognized the late great George Segal. It's understandable that you didn't mention his partner in crime Richard Benjamin, who was equally big in movies in the 1960-1980 time frame, but whose movies somehow haven't become classics and are rarely revived now. He's still around at 87, and occasionally gets a TV role. I'm really enjoying your discovery of this lovable series, and the many insights you bring to each episode. I'm sorry it has to end soon.

Oof, Ned kind of dug himself a hole there. I think Olive had every right to be mad at him - he seems to have been aware that Olive had actual feelings for him, so treating the fake relationship so flippantly was…not great. Granted the fake engagement was a bad idea anyway, but still. Otherwise this episode was a lot of fun! Really curious about how they’re going to wrap all this up.
