I don't know how you and Kevin balance all the shows and movies you react to (not to mention responding to comments) with regular jobs. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm never mad about a delay and don't expect you guys to be machines. - And now the turducken episode! This is my favorite one-off episode, mostly because it's just so WILD. There are also some subtle nods to Silence of the Lambs, with the bird in Sarah Craber's chest (which is a starling), as well as the lambs in the final scene. - Love the opening scene, where it finally seems like Jack has realized the truth about Hannibal (despite what he says outside the interrogation room, which I see as him signaling to Will not to f*** this up while Hannibal is standing RIGHT THERE). "You hook him, I'll catch him." - Peter Bernardone is one of my favorite minor characters, and Jeremy Davies is so great in this role. Love his subtle parallel to Will, with him only being capable of violence against someone he knows to be violent. The actor playing the social worker is really great too; it takes skill to play that kind of dead-eyed calm. - "Peter ... is your social worker in that horse?" is the greatest line of dialogue in anything ever. Everyone else go home. Peak achieved. Hannibal's face in that ENTIRE scene is everything.

Hannibal season 1 episode 1 Will: I don't find you that interesting. Hannibal: You will. Hannibal Season 2 episode 8 Hannibal: Do you still plan on killing me Will? Will: I don't wanna kill you Dr Lector, Not now that I finally find you interesting. these writers play the long game.

Oh Joe, no need to apologize! We all know you’re crazy busy - and frankly, bonus points to you for handling the change of schedule with so much grace. God knows that kind of call from my boss would’ve sent me into right panic. Anyway. Happy to watch along whenever :)

OMG - Yes! That was ‘Upham’ from Saving Private Ryan! I don’t think I’ve seen him in anything else. He was fantastic here - such a tragic character. I was a little surprised that Will returned to therapy with Hannibal, but then, that’s clearly part of the chess game to figure Hannibal out & eventually convict him of...goodness, any number of things. However, I was even more surprised that Alana was still “with” Hannibal. Like, honey, this man is entirely composed of red flags. Also - Agreed, glad they didn’t go the vigilante route with Will. That would have indeed been lazy writing, and they’re better than that. P.S. - Ice fishing - Surely, you’ve seen Grumpy Old Men, right?

Yeah, agree with Pam, no biggie to delay an upload now and again, and definitely don't risk your day job on our account!

> Su-zakana (酢肴) is a Japanese term for a small appetizer, typically comprising vinegared fish or vegetables, served during a Kaiseki (traditional multi-course) meal to cleanse the palate. It acts as a palate cleanser before larger dishes, often signifying a transitional point in the meal. <

What Dr, Bloom was doing IS classic profiler technique- touching the person being interrogated, lingering on uncomfortable topics. Notice how he didn't say HE wanted to be a social worker but depersonalized the encounter by saying "the world needs social workers"- both grandiose and distant at the same time...

I love this episode. The animal gore is horrible, but this episode has some the best, and weirdest lines: "The only thing stranger than finding a woman inside a horse is seeing you back in therapy with Will Graham." "They think I'm weird. I'm much weirder than you will ever be, Margot. It's fine to be weird." "With all my knowledge and intrusion, I could never entirely predict you. I can feed the caterpillar, and I can whisper through the chrysalis, but what hatches follows its own nature and is beyond me." and of course the best line: "Peter... Is your social worker in that horse?"
