The Leftovers is fantastic. It’s definitely the kind of show that would fit the vibe of this channel.

Oh, the plot is very thick indeed… First of all, “misadventure by major appliance” is an *excellent* phrase. Second — for reasons I would rather not explain, I think the writing on the donkey picture was lipstick…but the used tampon was itself — I’m so sorry. If it wasn’t relevant, I would never… Third — I’m pretty sure the brothers Stussy are indeed involved with some very scary people. ‘Kalinka’ (playing in the background) is an old Russian tune. And the mentions of Putin… “Best case scenario, they’re broke and out of business.” Oh...well... If the bad guys are who I think they are, best case scenario might be a *quick* death. But I wouldn’t be surprised if someone was poisoned a la Litvinenko, Navalny, et. al.

David Thewliss’ character seems more like The Greek from season 2 of the Wire. If he’s a key part of an international crime ring with shipping/smuggling concerns then it could have been slave girls in the truck and he could have moles in the FBI. I’m not sure going straight to the FBI is the safest option in this scenario.

You wouldn't last long at Lumon using long words like "non-micturated"..... + > "Non-micturated" describes something, typically a surface or object, that has not been urinated upon. The term is a combination of the prefix "non-" (not) and "micturated," which is the past participle of the verb micturate—a formal or physiological term meaning to urinate or pass urine. <

Thirded, a smart tough show for a discerning crowd.

The mortician was fabulous, has he been in anything else? 🤣
