The actress portraying Vivian Lord, is Francesca Eastwood, the daughter of Clint Eastwood and Francis Fisher. Francis Fisher portrays the older Vivian Lord.

Another request for guys to get yourselves a whiteboard or something, where you can write the cast / character names / roles / notes. I get pulled out of the watch-along when you stumble over that stuff. Thanks!

Ray Wise looks basically the same now as he did when he unloaded a shotgun into Officer Alex Murphy all those years ago.

I did six flights by Tuesday once, triangle trip starting Sunday, each flight required a connection. Long days, not recommended.

You’re not wrong - there is something really delightful about the box that closes itself. I love that it’s tied to the animated robot too, Minsky (who shares a name with cognitive scientist/early AI engineer). Very curious how that’ll play into the rest of the story. Oof, mustache cop at the bar was the worst. And I’ve been on that date. Several times. The worst. “Meaning for a year, she was married and divorced.” Lol, Schrodinger’s relationship… how appropriate given the conversation about quantum mechanics later (inaccuracies aside). Also - I loved the discussion of the stories vs. reality thing. Reminds me of phenomenology, an offshoot of existentialism. Are you familiar with it? I don’t know if that’s what they’re actually going for, but I might keep that idea in my back pocket for a while.

I’m assuming Ray Wise will be back and I’m curious as to what role his character will play within the story. He seemed like a nice enough guy but I can see him being a main villain character. Maybe he’s the head of the crime syndicate?
