i last saw Miranda in the 2014 PBS series Map and Lucia with Anna Chancellor. The series is only 3 hour-long episodes and would be a great one for you to watch if you[re in the mood for a British comedy.

I think the thru line of the show is that Blackadder is subject to the whims of the monarch and he schemes to survive and better his circumstances. Also, while his personality has changed he’s still not a particularly nice person so we don’t need to feel guilty about laughing at whatever unpleasant thing befalls him each episode.
