Some fun animal facts: Sydney Harbour (where they fall into the water) has a large shark population so the actors had to wear ankle shark repellent devices during filming. That Huntsman spider also bit Sydney Sweeney.

I honestly feel like Glen was tap dancing for his life and Sydney gave ZERO back. will Gluck usually hits for me (Easy A, Fired Up) but this adaptation disappointed me so much. A real bastardization of Beatrice in Much Ado - def SS miscasting issue, unfortunately.

This is just further evidence that Glen Powell could have chemistry with a sack of flour because Sydney Sweeney was giving him absolutely nothing to work with here and he still comes off as super charming. Since we’re on a Glen run with this and Set It Up, you guys should do Twisters, The Running Man and Chad Powers too 👀

This is a modern adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing, hence the Shakespeare references and other easter eggs like the younger sister saying she feels like everyones a character in a play. And then we have Beatrice and Ben who are Beatrice and Benedict, and then the marriage between Claudia and Halle instead of Claudio and Hero. I was quite surprised to see Much Ado About Nothing added to the list. I wonder if someone saw this film was on it and chucked it on. Looking forward to that one! "Oh were that I were a man, I would eat his heart in the marketplace!"
