I really love the scene where Jinx sets off the flare. It’s visually stunning and the music works well. I like that we still see glimpses of Milo and Claggar. It seems to show Jinx carrying the weight of their deaths on her back.

Hopefully Marcus will grow a conscious at some point and Jayce, a backbone

Heimerdinger is definitely earnest in his desire to do good, but all of Jayce's criticisms of him were valid and accurate. All of the problems that have been festering the entire show happened while he was the head of the council, and his desire to not do anything to make things worse has acted as a shackle preventing him from doing anything to make things better. The fact that he is probably right about the dangers of the Hexcore doesn't change the fact that the problems they are trying to fix are real and urgent, nor does it change the fact that he isn't offering any alternative solutions. He is a good man with a good mind and a good heart, but he always stands for doing nothing, and I think we've seen enough of the Piltover/Undercity dynamic to conclude that doing nothing is not a tenable solution, in the long term.

That scene really hit me, especially when it showed her carrying the weight of those two. Powerful imagery for sure.

I mean, once they are threatening his family, it shouldn’t be too hard to figure out which side to be on.

It’s absolutely valid. He doesn’t offer better paths. He just warns against doing things.

It's an interesting thought you had, that Caitlyn and Vi are the most heroic, well intended characters. I think Jayce has them both beat for good intentions, but I can see an argument for Caitlyn. Vi, though, I think doesn't care about anything or anyone but Powder. Improving society by getting favors from Piltover and getting rid of Silco only matters to her in so far as it helps Powder. How Vi cares for her little sister and how the world gets in the way of her doing that I think is the most powerful part of the whole show.
