I know that ending fight scene was supposed to be super intense and whatnot, but music made it kind of hilarious. That’s not a complaint - I loved it. Giggling with delight the entire time. The music was Rossini’s “The Thieving Magpie,” a drama/comedy, that’s been used in various cartoons for ages. So that pairing that with Jack’s revenge was just… *chef’s kiss*. By the way - I’m not sure why, but this season is kind of reminding me of Murakami novels. I’ve only read a little bit of his work (“The Wind Up Bird Chronicle” is spectacular), but for reasons I can’t quite put my finger on they feel similar…. “Vibes” as the kids say, I guess ;)

I found it interesting, how different your experience is with this show. I enjoy the image of Will being broken/reconstructed, and falling for the bad side. Love this quote: There are other means of influence, other than violence. The circus music as Jack beats the shit out of Hannibal is beautiful

Only got around watching this one now. This episode highlights the visual style of the show. They even bought back the dollhouse esthetic from the previous seasons. Reminds me, when I went to see The Northman in theaters and everyone was gushing about the visuals. Only problem for me, was that it looked less interesting than this show. Only exception was the final fight scene, which was pretty epic.

Remember how this show started as "Murder Of The Week" ? :D This episode is a masterpiece of the weird and wonderful...and yet you can easily understand how the show couldn't survive on network TV.

It was honestly really cool. This isn't really "the fight scene" show, but when they do it, it's always well done. Yes, vibes indeed lol

Maybe it's just the portrayal of Will that is bugging me. Like I've said many times, I love William Peterson's portrayal of the character. This is just vastly different and after 3 seasons I can't connect

It was a very epic fight scene. This season has been incredibly cinematic
