Also, my last comment before I go all Jesus freak here, Sarno is not the "stress will exacerbate existing conditions" guy, that's modern medicine and mostly as "far" as it's still willing to go . Sarno's theory is that unconscious emotions and psychological factors can CAUSE chronic conditions, illness and disease, initiate them. That's the major difference, and while it's sort of getting better, if I bring this stuff up with any GP or specialist, they ask me if I want to talk to a therapist. Meh.

That is wonderful! It's hard to imagine that we are still in a time scientifically where so much of medicine doesn't take into account the psychlogical aspects of pain.
