That was Timothy Olyphant, in the last scene, kicking in the door. Schwartzmann, has spoken about that when he was a kid, he did not understand why people would come up to his mother and say “Yo, Adrian”. She had not yet shown any of her movies to him.

Man, I don’t know who's playing Brother Crazy Eyes, but he is *killing* it. Nurse Mayflower is still the most terrifying, but he’s coming in at a close second. Speaking of Nurse Mayflower - I don’t think she’s intending on killing them with the pie. The medicinal bottle was labeled ‘ipecac’ - which used to be used to induce vomiting. My best guess is that she, as the nurse, swoops in once everyone is sick, presenting herself as the benevolent neighbor, and gains their trust (access to the daughter). To what end, I don’t know… Either that, or she’s just pure chaos. Also, if I remember right, the thing about trading kids goes back to a medieval custom (or maybe earlier). Various nobility would trade a kid as part of an alliance - an act of trust, just like we see here. Something kind of on par with alliance by marriage - which, it seems, we also see here. Although I suppose it makes sense, mafia rule does resemble feudalism, at least to some degree. Who knew?

This season of Fargo was filmed in Chicago. I know the real funeral home used here is in the Bridgeport neighborhood but I would have to do some research to pinpoint other filming locations. And speaking of Chicago, the guy welding the axe when the Cannon crew takes over the slaughterhouse is Corey Hendrix who you know as Gary "Sweeps" from The Bear.

That's funny. I look forward to seeing more of Olyphant in the show!

Thank you! The bottle was too shadowed for me, so I couldn't tell that it was ipecac. You right, then, it definitely isn't intended to kill anyone, just make them violently ill.

I completely missed Gary! I will have to watch out for him. Filming in Chicago makes sense; KC and Chicago have very similar foliage in oaks, maples, and elms
